LOL! Sue, I felt like I had been awakened in the middle of the night! That was TOO long of a nap! I really didn't feel tired from taking care of the baby but then children are like a balm to my soul! I love them so very much!

You have been a busy lot with me gone off. Just got home from a service that went from 7:pM until 9:15PM...I have never preached so long. It was like a marathon and the people kept saying more...give us more.. Never had that before...I thought they were saying Bore.....

    Cheers,

    Jim

Well here I am - all sassy and such.

Had a good day at church - saw my sister Joy this afternoon - she is doing much better.

We talked on the phone with all three of our children yesterday!

We expect to have Kari, Ryan, and the children up for a visit - the weekend after next!

Forgot to tell folks at church that daylight savings time ends next Sunday Morning at 2 AM. Other the Dr. Bob - I don't know of anyone else who would be up at that time of day - to do the changing at the proper time.

Mother lost her electricity last Wednesday for about 5 1/2 hours. I had to reprogram her VCR and phone.

I even have to change the time on her microwave when it changes spring and fall.

Dan - won't be here long tonight.

Dr. Bob, as you know, I fully understand your situation. To learn to walk, think and talk again is a long arduous task, but the Lord is exceeding able to prove that what you have preached down through the ages is true in fact. And even when what you want is not achieved, He proves that His grace is sufficient all the way.

Praise God for even the small mercies.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Good Morning Sue. Glad you are feeling better.

I couldn't sleep in this morning. Muscles ached from the yard work I did on Saturday. I'll probably have to nap today because I usually get up around 7:30, not 5:00.

That is good news, Dr. Bob. You have great courage and determination.

Good Morning Betty and thank you!

My eye feels really good this morning! My muscles have been sore since I did the leaves, they feel good this morning though!

I will be outside again today, blowing the leaves that have fallen over the week-end, but only in the front and sides and I will NOT go around the foundation where the paint chips are!!!!

We are going to have a beautiful, record-breaking day here and I know I won't want to stay inside...

Good to see everyone is chirpy this morning, That's as it should be.

I was at a church last night that did all the wrong things the right way and I rather enjoyed it. Bless the Lord.

    Good morning,

Lots of blue sky in Troupsburg. I didn't have to go to jury duty today - will have to call again this evening after 5PM to see about tomorrow.

Today and tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day - in the 60s for a high!!

Bills won yesterday - Mets didn't lose - Good NASCAR race - what more could a sports fanatic ask for? Oh yes - for the hated Yankees to lose!!

    Everyone have a good day!!

    Dan

Good morning Jim, Mark, and Dan! Glad all is well at your neck of the woods. Hope you all enjoy the fall scenery. It must be beautiful. I haven't had a chance to go out to the country this season yet. [IMG]

BTW, what do you think of the comeback kids, the Yankees, Dan? Your Mom must be elated! [IMG]

Brother Barnabas, How are you and wife feeling this morning? Are you both getting your wellness legs back? Wishing you both God's speed in recovery.

    Cheers,

Yes, Barnabas - mother is happy - her Yankees won. But the rest of the family (with very few exceptions) hate your Yankees.

Mother (and the minority of Yankees lovers in the family) are very fond of Mr. Pettite - as he professes to be a believer!

Yes, Barnabas, Everything is in place in the new house. I actually found three "lost" things on Saturday.

We really like our new house. We have been working on the yard trying to get ready for winter. We want to simply the yard so that it only needs mowing, not much weeding.

I used to love lots of trees until I have to fight the leaves every year so, we have only two trees and a few bushes. I planted some Irises and next spring will plant few rose bushes and that will be the extent of the "garden".

Barnabas, are you for the Yankees? I am. I am sure it goes back to my childhood when that was all I heard about. We did have a neighbor who played for the White Sox. My dad let his sons
play ball in one of our fields.

Good morning Donna! Hope you are doing OK today. [IMG]

Jim, thanks for asking. Both my wife and I are doing much better. The flue seems to be gone (or will go in a few days). This morning I have to take my wife to the hospital for testing, so I will be away for a while. [IMG]

Betty, I am so glad you are pretty much settled in your new home! And yes, I am a die hard Yankee fan. But, I cannot watch the games. I only look in from time to time and see the results... ;)

Dan, how can you hate the Yankees? I didn't think you have such word in your vocabulary... [IMG]
