Jim, I always go down and hit add reply. I have no idea why it flooded the thread like that but had never tried hitting tab enter to enter post. It would be easier than using the cursor.... but wow! BTW.. it only added one to my count as far as I can tell.

I may have figured it out. I have disabled 'sticky keys' or 'filter keys' because hubby and I both type about 90 wpm. If I hit tab once but don't immediately remove my finger, it will read that as repeated strokes. What think ye?
On my computer, to enable 'sticky keys', I have to hold down shift for a number of seconds and then apply.

I'm not upset, just frustrated. And forgot that I can go back ANYTIME and edit with my almost god-like powers as Adminstrator that YOU cannot do.
And with my typing, I have to reread every post immediately. And still miss some. Ugh.

Well with all that button pushing, I ended up with all caps no matter what I did and everything opening in new windows. Never did figure out why... so we shut down and rebooted several times. Bellsouth is running at 26.6 today again. Just got on at 44.kbps
Oh well, I only pay $14.95 a month. Hey... I just noticed that we've worn the letters off several keys on our new keyboard. Nick is PRETTY good for a 9 year old with his typing but think I'd better find a permanent marker and see if I can fix the missing letters.

I used to back hours later and fix my spelling errors - but alas - I only have about five minutes now to edit.
Remember - I don't want anyone to know that I am a kindergarten drop-out - so I either use spell check or edit.

Diane, the fortunecity thing is not caused by the firewall. The firewall will not let anything come through if it doesn't like it or thinks there might be some danger.
Sometimes the firewall will ask if it is ok to let something come through.
Ok, Barnabas and Dr. Bob...just when I learned how to double post...I will unlearn it! Actually, that's easy for me....Now what was it you didn't want me to do?
Glad that Sue's husband was able to drive her and be with her.

I was just about to go eat supper and saw this quick update from Sue. I posted it in the prayer forum but didn't want anyone to miss it.

Shawna is okay for right now. They finally discovered why scar tissue kept amassing and causing infections. There was a stitch left in her leg from her first surgery 16 years ago! The scar tissue kept forming around it. They removed the stitch and cleaned it all out. She shouldn't have any more problems of that nature now that they have removed the cause. The cyst was 3/16 of an inch with a tail on it. It has been sent to the lab for a biopsy. She will be in a wheelchair until she goes back to the doctor on the 16th, then on crutches until her leg heals enough to wear her prosthesis. Pray the cyst is benign. Thank you all for the prayers asking God to give the doctors wisdom. It amazes me that this stitch was not found in over 20 surgeries, but thank God they found it this time!
