Good Morning Everyone!

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

I trust everyone had a restful night's sleep.

25º right now with a wind chill of 15º. High for today 46º with a mixture of sun and clouds.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and doughnuts are ready.

Good Morning Dan (the trouble maker)! :D

But Sue would be livid!
I wouldn't mind at all...as long as he did it on someone else's thread!

Hey! Now that's an idea! Why don't you start a thread titled, "FOR DOUBLE POSTERS ONLY"?

Get the scene:

Inspector/Investagator/Detective/Patrolman(Motorcycle division---Harley Davidson special) Blackbird bursts through the door and catches "Kildare" red handed!!!

274 posts in a row before Officer Blackbird "catches" on!!!!

That's pretty good, Kildare!!! But you are under arrest!!! Youuuuuuuuuuuu don't have the right to remain silent!!! You must keep postin' and postin' and postin' until your typin' fingers are calloused and you can't "feel" your fingers on the keyboard!!!!"

Don't worry, I am not patient enough to hardly even double post, much less 270post!

The 1000 post club is not that that far away. I may even make it before January is over if I get busy!

Can I do a little daddy bragging here (even though it would be better in the parents forum).

I had the joy of my four oldest children serving the Lord in services today. My two oldest sons are preaching at the oldest son's church in Antrim, but third son preached in our little church this morning, and our daughter will be ministering in music at our home church in Alabama. What more could parents want?

HI All, Well we took down the rest of the Christmas decorations today. It's sort of a downer since it looks so pretty and I love the holidays so. Oh well. It's all done.

Hope everyone is having a good day today. I had a slew of kids in Sunday School and then a lot more came in during church time! My class size has increased from 13 to 22 since September!

Hey Diane!

I wondered where you were! You usually pop in before church!

My house always seems to look fine before I put the Christmas decorations up, but after I take them down it looks very bare and it has the same things sitting in the same places as before.

I guess it's all the pretty lights and Christmas colors that make it look dull when they're removed.

Lounging and watching TV movies today...

Hi Sue, I had falled asleep on the sofa at 8 last night and Jim woke me for bed at 11. I was awake til after 3:00 a.m. so was pretty sluggish before church!

I'm the same way about the house. Two weeks from now I'll be complaining that the house is too small but right now it looks so large! Jim and Jon brought up all my boxes and I took everything down. Jim helped me take the two trees apart and get them in their plastic bins. Still, it always makes me want to redecorate right away!

I don't decorate for other holidays other than different wreaths on the front door. Do you? Anyone?

I have decorative flags for each of the holidays and I usually set some things around inside (including holiday placemats). I also use window clings sometimes... If any of the grands are going to be here, I decorate more.

This has been a lazy day and I am not going to be up much longer. I have been watching movies and crocheting doilies (for ME this time). :D

A good Monday morning to all! It sure is quiet around here with Dr B being gone
.

It is quiet around the house as well. After having as many as twelve people in our house over the holiday we are down to five this week.

The way the years are passing it won't be long before it is even quieter. Fortunately we had a late gift child so he will be around for another ten years or so!

Not a big NFL fan, but my Eagles won last night so am looking for them to go all the way now!

Have a great day all!

Good Morning!

I see that Dan is up to 'no good' again! That happens everytime he starts 'thinking'!

Roger: I don't follow football, but my kids in Wisconsin were NOT happy last night! :(

With Sheila and Dr.B. gone, it is very quiet during the night here. Watchman hasn't dropped in lately either. Week-ends are always slow though.

41º and partly sunny for a high today. Not too bad, in this area, for January!

Sue,

Your weather is about the same as ours today. We have about a 12 hour break from the gale and storm force winds we have been having.

Good Morning Roger and Gib!

Roger: We have been having unusually windy weather here too. Mostly 20-30 mph winds. That makes it much colder than the actual temperature, but the wind is calm for today.

Gib: I didn't know you were into rap!?!

Please remember to pray for Gwyneth and family in these critical days (see prayer forum). An UPDATE was posted there last night...
