Sue,

Are you trying to tell me that you are going to try and clean me up!

Won't work!!

Dan - incorrigible!

PS - no bragging because you passed Dr. Bob!

Did you see that Diane has gone over 9,000!

Good morning, Dan. I see we have snow again to-day, but confessedly comes from an Alberta clipper and not from Watertown.

Cheers,

Jim

Jim,

If it's all the same to you - I'd just as soon that you not send it my way!

Dan - looking for warmer weather!

C4K - isn't that a nickname for some kind of highly explosive material? - Have fun with your students - don't let the wind mess us your hair!

What hair??

Had a great day at Youthreach - these are very troubled teens and on the edge of crime, drugs, and all the rest. I am not allowed to "witness" but they do know I love them and what I believe.

If I can give them the gift of reading...who knows what God can do from there?

BTW - I am really not as dumb as I look on the "Before and After" Game - I have a masters degree and everything - course, I didn't master in games ;) .

C4K - I'm glad everything went well for you with the young people.

Keep up the good work with them.

Maybe you could get them to assist you with the games - kids seem to master them better than anything else.

Dan - there are some games that even I can't understand!

Roger: I made a mess of trying to explain that game from the beginning!
(Please check your PM's)

Dan: You're right! When I don't understand a game, I call my grands!

Well, supper is prepared and dishes are done. All I have to do is put supper in the oven. I made a low carb supper (probably would work for diabetics too).

Baked ranch chicken breasts with cheese
Broccoli casserole
Sugar-free jello & cool whip salad
And hubby gets a baked potato & bread and butter

I had left over "Cabbage Dump" for lunch. I will be making that more often. Hubby and I both loved it and it is SO easy!!!

Hi all, just got in from the dentist a few minutes ago. Two LONG hours under the drill. He had to 'clip' the gum??? I guess this is a last ditch effort on THIS tooth. I get another one filled next week and then a cleaning and check up the next week. Dr. Camp worked for hours and NO CHARGE today! What a wonderful man of God!

So, my mouth is so numb I can't drink without dribbling all over my clothes.

PLEASE pray for my husband! I really think this job hunt is going to kill him. He just doesn't see any 'light at the end of this tunnel' and things are now so very tight and only a miracle...

Back from the corner. Another day-another dollar.

Popping supper in the oven now.

Will be around for awhile...

Well Dr. Camp had told me to come home and take 3 Advil but I waited a few hours and did take two. He said I'd be in a lot of pain but so far only a few short and not bad throbbing sensations. He also gave me a MAJOR muscle relaxant for my clinching of my jaw but I read the info and won't take it now. Shucks... the stuff is STRONG! 10-12 hours of drooling! I don't THINK so!

So what's going on tonight round your place? We've been doing more job searches and REALLY appreciate the prayers.

What's going on around here is not much!!!

Do any of you have the "Visual Bible"? So far, it's only available for Matthew and Acts. I asked "Santa" for either one on DVD for Christmas and I got both!! ("Santa" is really good to me!)

For those not familiar with it, it's a dramatized word-for-word Bible, with actors playing the parts, in the dress of the time in which it was written. In the Matthew one, Richard Kiley plays Matthew, and a guy named Bruce Marchiano plays Jesus. It is just incredibly awesome! The speaking parts are just what is written in the Bible.

Now, to preface this, you need to understand I am what you might call "anal retentive", left-brained, just plain old black and white, everything lined up, or whatever you want to call it and NO imagination! This DVD has totally revitalized my Bible reading! The guy who plays Jesus is just incredible...he's very "real", and down to earth. He smiles a lot, just like Jesus would probably do. And the parts where Jesus heals people is awesome! I never really thought about crowd reaction, or Jesus' reaction, or the reaction of the one who was healed, but this shows them CELEBRATING! The crowd is laughing and cheering, Jesus is EXCITED, and the one who was healed is REJOICING!! Has totally expanded my Bible study to help me realize what it must have REALLY been like!!

So, that's what I'm doing tonight..."reading" Matthew!!!

Can't wait to see what they do with Acts!!

Wow, sounds great C.J.! I had not heard of those! Sometimes we can find things like that at our library plus our church has a brand new library with a lot of new and donated items. I almost donated Nick's Donut Man Video's but took a chance and sent them to our daughter. The 3 year old loves them and now mom and dad are singing along all about Jesus. Out of the mouth of babes!

BTW.... Dr. Camp was screwing some post into my tooth and kept telling Autumn he needed to turn it another couple of times. I'm thinking since this was a large molar with major decay that he left that screwed into my tooth! Maybe that's what I'm feeling. It actuall feels like a little nail type throb right down the middle but gosh is it a pretty looking tooth now! He did a beautiful job!

Just popping in to say good night to the night owls and good morning to the ones across the pond who will be here before I am in the morning!

Diane: Keep your tongue away from that tooth or you will have it sore again!

CJ: Those sound great! I read the Biblical novels about different people in the Bible and it makes them so much more real to me.

Sleep tight - don't let the bed bugs bite!

Pleasant dreams all!

I still haven't seen Sue say anything about being the all time number one poster on BB!

Come on Sue - do a little bragging!

Dan - I would if I was number one - come to think of it - I do - and I'm not number One!

Good Morning!

WOW! I slept in until 5:00 this morning! Of course, I didn't get to sleep 'til midnight!

It is 27º and cloudy this morning. I'm not sure what the wind chill is, but the winds are 25-35 mph.

I saw four more flocks of geese yesterday. That brings the total to 15 flocks and they are ALL flying North!

Dan: I don't pay any attention to my post count. That's why I never post my milestones in the special forum for it.

Dr. Bob will soon regain his title when he gets back from his cruise. :D
