Yes, Ovaltine is chocolate. It reminds me of hot cocoa, only healthier.

I think they may have it in the malt flavor now also. I will let you know after I go to the store. I haven't bought any for years, but am starting up again. [IMG]

Grace must have been working overtime on that day! ;)

So it was the Pied Piper who worked with rats - funny how an old mind can confuse things!

Dan - it was raining on the way to work - the temperature was 29ºF - that means ICE.

I distinctly remember telling Sue not to send that weather my way!

My father-in-law had a hive of honeybees in one of the walls of his workshop---he called a "BeeKeeper" who came and got the bees---they'll do it for free, I think---the Keeper gave him a pint of honey as payment!!!! How about that?? Folks in Alabama would be just like us folks from Louisiana---if they would let themselves be!!! You know that, don't cha??

Your Southern Baptist preachin', bee-buzzin' buddy

It sure was a Rainy Night in Georgia and I didn't get enough sleep. Jim thrashed until about 12:30 and then he got up by about 4:00. I've been up since just after 6:00. Working today.... At least it's not cold. It's 41° already but supposed to be 60° by this afternoon.

Gib's going to be here Tuesday and Wednesday. Looks like we'll be able to meet 'in person' this time! Hope so!

Sue, if we come to Illinois in the summer we sure will meet but if Jim has a new job it'll be too soon for a vacation. That is how you spell those things that rich people get to take, isn't it? It's been so many years since we've had one that I've forgotten! LOL

So, here it is 8:00 a.m. and I've not even had my first cup of tea! Whatever is wrong with me!!

I'll be online all day at work but cannot access email or IM from there. Any moderator alerts won't make it to me but pm's show up on the board.

Good moanin', all. Having a tough time getting to the Coffee House today.

Had "whistle blower" notifications + p.m.'s from a number. NOT A SWEET SWEET SPIRIT on the BB posts this morning while I was still asleep! grrrr

And checking my banking (on line) I found a business deposit "missing" from Tuesday. I called the branch of Wells Fargo and they cleared it up and made a "corrected deposit" (I have the slip, etc, to prove it all).

So late last night, checking on line again, found that the NEW deposit that THEY made was "missing". TWICE IN ONE WEEK.

So been on the phone with the bank. They can't find my deposit!

    Double grrrrr.

The trials of being in business for one's self and being an administrator on BB!

It's terrible the things that keep you from posting!

Dan - satisfied to write devotionals and post, double post, and on occasion - triple post!

Oh indeed such trials. Everyone has something, right?

Bank never has a problem with my account. Guess you have to have money to deposit for them to miss it.

I did have trouble the other day when I noted something as being March 5th...Guess I went too far round the corner in search of spring.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good morning Jim!

    Hope you're doing well today!

It's been raining here - and the fear is that we'll have ice - ice - and more ice!

Dan - inside - warm and dry!

Hey fellas! It almost looks like a men's forum. None of the ladies have posted in almost four hours!

Not having bank frustrations, but I wish I had had some training in publishing before I left for the field - I now think very missionary on deputation should be taught some basics! Working in The Torch, the gospel newsletter we distribute 3 times a year. Been all afternoon working on some "simple" graphics, etc. Plus, my copy of MS Publisher keeps "forgetting" which fonts I have loaded! (not worth a grrr! ;) )

It's okay, Dr. Bob! I just asked Wells Fargo to put that in MY account. LOL

Well here I am at work... watching Finding Nemo AGAIN! Nick came with me this morning. Jim's trying to get an interview with a company that had attempted to interview him once before. He went... but the gentleman who was to interview him had an emergency and couldn't come. Jim finally called the corporate offices and talked to someone in HR there. Seems that fella has become quite ill and has been out of work for 2 weeks. The guy Jim talked to was very nice and since Jim had called on their corporation before, he had some names to drop. God's will!

So.... it is RAINING like crazy! Flooded streets all around.

Hey..... Dr. Bob! Maybe Webmaster should issue some cattleprods to the admins! You could ZAP us when we're naughty and not talking nice! [IMG]

    Hi Dan,

We have had a bit of everthing to-day: snow, rain, freezing rain, more snow, and wind...typical Northern NY conditions. I went to shop early to get the staples for stormy weather: pop corn. Can you imagine? That is what wife wanted; Pop corn!

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good Morning AGAIN All!

Roger: Ovaltine comes in chocolate and malt both. You can drink it hot or cold. I got a large 16oz jar for $3.59. It is cholesterol and fat free (too bad it has carbs in it). :(

Hard telling when I'll get to check back. I am preparing food and getting bed clothes ready. Oldest daughter, Laurie, is coming from Indiana again for the week-end. She will be here today with three of my grandsons. I LOVE IT! [IMG]

I love the BB, but spending time with my kids and grands takes precedence! Does this mean I'm NOT addicted to the BB after all? ;)

If I don't make it back on today, I will be on early in the morning before anyone else gets up.

    Y'all have a good day. I know I will!

    Jim,

Our recent discussion about logic come to mind. There is absolutely any logic in what a woman often wants to buy or have bought for her.

Fortunately, we men know what we want and why we want it - and our reasoning is always filled with logic! ;) ;)

Dan - I'm glad I'm a logical man - pop corn - why didn't she want ice cream or candy?
