So, C.J.! Did you like JofA? I thought it was good. Glad Grace is softening. I really love the interaction between the mom and dad. LOL Next week she wants God to give the new girl a big zit!

Luke is smitten, and Kevin is still weird! :D

Dryer just buzzed...sheets...yuk. I really HATE folding sheets. :(

Made us cry too! Yep... I loved too that the confused girl is named Grace and that we're seeing her open up!

Don't talk about the dryer! Mine is still in there. I won't work again til next Thursday. Maybe I can get some stuff done before then! LOL

Can't tell if those who have tasted Horlick's here like it? Gayla seemed to think it was a little different...is it chocolate? [IMG]

Hi Sheila...I went over to our old stomping ground and there were two people asking me to pray with them.....Who said God doesn't speak to-day?

    Cheers,

CJ, there is a chocolate version. But I can't have that as chocolate keeps my awake. It is after 2.30 am here.
Horlicks is very nice, different to Ovaltine. Well, looks like it is going to be another long night...LOL
You finished all your laundry CJ?

Good evening to one and all!

Abigail - 5 1/2 YO granddaughter called and talked to us close to 30 minutes around supper time. Her whole family is sick - including our daughter's family upstairs.

It's been good for Kelly and Kari and their families to be so close together for the past several years - but when one gets sick - it often affects two households - that's the down side of it!

Dan - don't get sick as often - now that all the kids have flown the coop! (or is it coup)[interesting - spell check did not identify any misspelled words!]

I spose I could always do some ironing...
nah, I think I will post instead...

CJ, so glad you feel better now. What time is it over there then?

It's 9 p.m. where I am...almost my bedtime! Winding down after the excitement of finishing the laundry, so will probably go to bed soon and read for awhile! [IMG]

Tomorrow I have to work on taxes...I will probably get a refund, so that will be nice! Am meeting my bro and sil for lunch!

Boy Howdy to all. Sorry to have been a party pooper (can we say that word on the BB?) all day.

Know that most everybody is asleep but I'm just raring to type.

Or just to scream! The bank not only STILL CAN'T FIND our Tuesday deposit, they now CAN'T FIND the deposit I just made today at 3 o'clock.

I AM NOT KIDDING. We joked and harassed the tellers at our little branch, and they are looking into the situation. So I give them the other deposit and then, tonight, I finally get home and the ocmputer shows that NO DEPOSIT has been registered.

Diane? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY MONEY?

That was sweet of you to give your money to Diane. But once you give someone your money, is it appropriate to try to make them account for it?

Perhaps she bought some Horlicks. What in the world is that? I don't think we have that out here in the far west.

(They'll find it. They have to!!)

    Dr. Bob,
With Bank of Oklahoma (which is actually a pretty big bank) a regular paper deposit made today at 3:00 would NOT show up online so soon.
Not for maybe a couple of days. Can be longer, up to ten days for amounts over $5000.
I have had to have special permission in the past for large deposits to be credited in less than 5-10 business days.
Debit card transactions and automatic payroll deposits show up as pending transactions that day, but not as finalized till sometime after midnight.
And not every teller is aware of all the nuances.
I hope it is something simple like this for you.

On Wells Fargo (I do all banking on line) it shows immediately as a "pending" deposit. Will not be credited until about 3 am when it goes through "proofing". The cut-off time is 4 pm, so I always run from the clinic at 3:45 each Tuesday and Friday.

Been on-line banking 6 years and never had a glitch. Now TWICE IN ONE WEEK? There is something amuck.
