I am going to crochet 2 hours each night until I get them done, so I will be signing off early most nights.

    Pleasant dreams all! Cya tomorrow!

With my parlyzed hands, I have a strap on my camera or use the tripod. My hammer is the same,,strap I mean,,,and Mary stays indoors, except when I am working indoors, then she goes outdoors. I can't figure out why. I can't even get her to hold the wood for me to split...

    Cheers,

    Jim

C.J. We HAVE it! I did take a couple of movies with me today but put in Finding Nemo when I knew Jim and Nick were coming up. I took in The Perfect Storm but it's pretty loud on the big sound system.

The best way to put ceiling fans up is to remove the blades first. The unit is then much easier to balance and slide the ball into the slot. They can be heavy and the blades make them awkward.

    Cheers, and happy spinning,

    Jim

It's quite a joke around here. Jim's said things like... 'Can you open that can of ceiling paint honey?' I squat down to open the can which is directly under the fan and BOOM! LOL I kid you not... at least 5 times! Jim said to tell you it's Product Safety Testing in our house and I'm the Gravity Checker. I have a merit badge to prove it! LOL

So, Dan...have you had time to "hop around" the board yet? Did you miss anything important? :D

    CJ,

I looked a couple of the threads on the Versions forum.

They're likely to kill each other off if they were to meet on a battle field.

Made one comment there just now - hope I was not too snide!

I stopped wearing the hat about a month ago. My hair is still very short, but it's thickened up quite nicely. It is also darker than before about 95% of it turned loose.
In the BB album, BB members meet section, I'm wearing a big 'ole straw hat in the pic of Diane ans I. It's hanging on the wall, makes pretty nice deoration and Lord willing will only be worn for 'fun'. [IMG]

Boy Howdy, I'm glad to drop in where it is quiet and comfortable.

Versions Forum has attracted me every time I logged in today. Not happy campers there.

And the "hats-r-us" on the Theology forum is "wracking" up pages with "rabidity".

And the Moderators Forum is hopping too.

Nice to put my feet up by the stove here and sip my tea and nibble on a piece of cherry pie.

Just a quick good morning. Going to do my devotions, have a cup of tea, watch a little news, help Mary with the grocery shopping and call back in later. If anyone is awake, keep the kettle on while I am gone.

And good night back to you C4K. Trust you have a nice breakfast and tea. I'm fighting a little stomach bug, so omitted MY bowl of cereal that I usually have prior to bed.

Sue will be up shortly and this will hit 20 pages, so watch for #36 coming up on FRIDAY THE 13th!

    Good Morning All!

Dr.B: I was hoping to start a new Coffee House thread yesterday in honor of ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY! [IMG]

Diane: I solved the 'dropping ceiling fan on me' syndrome. I put them up myself, that way if they fall, they hit hubby instead of me! :D

I have put out so many fires here this week, I should volunteer for the fire department! Is it a full moon???

Off to answer PM's and mod alerts...

Diane-the boys and I were having a sock war. You know, you roll up your socks and pelt each other. I remembered one time tossing a wadded up pc of paper into a ceiling fan and watched it zoom in who knows what direction.

So, I threw my sock wad into the spinning blades of the fan. It shot out, across the room, right into a full glass of pepsi. Luckily it hit the kitchen floor and not the new berber carpet. The impact on the fans also let us know that it had been a while since we dusted the tops of the blades. It looked like gray snow was falling. It was a great time to clean the fan.
