Just dropping by for a quick hello. Checking out the queue for those wanting to become members can be time consuming after a weekend night.

The anxiety is some better today but it's been since Thursday and my usual bout of extreme anxiety / hormone deficiency last about that long. Pray it's over for this bout!

Busy day at church today. Nick is in a puppet show being put on by the 1st - 6th graders tonight and has practice starting at 4. We had installed our 12 foot blow up pool yesterday and he spent the whole day swimming.

97° yesterday! You KNOW I turned on the air! Today is to only hit 88° tho so won't be nearly as bad!

Off to dress for S/S. I changed my lesson and am doing one on the need for Jesus in our lives, using a Veggie Tale puzzle. I've removed one piece and the object lesson is that without Jesus, we'll never be complete.

Have a blessed day in Christ Jesus our Lord!

    Here's something to share!

Grab hold of your faith in this hour. Let nothing on this earth turn you back. Move ahead, without looking back. God has made you a warrior in your faith. Turn to God now and draw strength and courage needed. Your enemy is too great to fight alone. You will find that HE will never run from a fight. Stand your holy ground and set your face to the cross you must bear. Pick it up.

1 Timothy 6:12 "Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. "

    Good morning Diane:

Praying for your anxiety. I deal with it daily.

I have the A/C on because the humidity is sooo bad. I can't breathe when it is this humid unless the air is on. I have air in my car also or I wouldn't be able to leave the house.

    Checking other forums...

Thank you Sue! My anxiety is gone or seems to be completely gone. It's regular as clockwork and usually only lasts those three days.

I had some hyper children in S/S this morning and very little went as planned but since we're nearing the switch to our new classes, I'm beginning to prepare these children for a more 'grown up' type class and expect it to take a while to be accepted!

Nick is in a puppet show tonight about Forgiveness and has to be back at 4 for practice. He's already swimming. Our daughter had gotten him one of the 12 foot blow up pools at Wal-Mart. It's much bigger than I thought! It's 12 foot round and 42" deep and he's in heaven! It was last years model and cost half the price of the new 12 footers!

Four hours so not a double post! We're heading out to the Puppet Show in just a minute here. Boy has it stormed! Nick played in his pool, got out for lunch, got back in for just an hour or so before the bottom fell out. Yesterday it was 97 and today it's 76! I can enjoy the rain!

Hope everyone had a nice restful day and saw many won to the Lord!

Was out preaching in Dry Creek, Wyoming. God gave strength and a good time with those dear ranch fmailies. Will continue to work with them as I have open Sundays.

Got in from church and had a phone call from my friend who owns the Antique Shop needing me to work 6 half days between now and July 8th so that's a blessing! She pays well and will pay me in advance.

Nick's puppet show went really well. The kids had a lot of fun. Nick was the voice of the bee and when the Grandpa asked who knocked over their hive he said 'All you humans look alike to me!' Funny!

Stopping in long enough to say good night. I stayed home all day today and slept most of the day.

I don't know what it is unless I am just taking a long time to get over that bout of food poisoning (could be stress too). If I say anymore, Dr. B. will tell me TMI!!!

    Pleasant dreams all.

Hi y'all! Thought I'd stop by for a minute!

We had a wonderful service tonight! We had a group from our church go on a mission trip to Ecuador in March, and a group who just got back from England this weekend. Some from each group shared testimonies of their experiences and it was awesome to hear what God did (and will continue to do) through them!

We also had a special prayer time for our children's camp (starts tomorrow), VBS and student camp. They had a wrist band printed up for each child who will be going to each camp; we all took one (or more) to wear while they are gone and committed to pray for them. It was a very inspirational and moving service.

Will be extremely busy next week as my pastor went with the group to England so has been gone for over a week...will be LOTS to do to get him caught up!

I see the lovely Dr. Mrs. Dr. Bob - doesn't look so short when she's standing on a 12" step! [IMG]

She was hoping you wouldn't notice, Dan.

[IMG]I shared with them some hair-raising stories of when I smuggled Bibles into the USSR back in the late 70's. It WAS an "evil empire" for certain sure, but the children really loved the toys and hat and things I brought to show them.

Not been around as much, things have busied up around here, which is a good thing for a missionary!

Sue - the memory is the first thing to go. I distinctly remember Dr. Bob stating that he had a beard - that the photo on BB was inaccurate!

    Good morning Dan:

I know there are three things that go as one grows older.

The memory is the first to go...I can't remember the other two! [IMG]

Sue, I've found that when I'm under stress or anxious, I take 2 hour naps. I think anxiety wears me out! Thought it was all gone and had a little again last night before bed but I slept VERY hard and woke up hurting from head to toe. I generally ache like that when I've slept so hard that I don't move at night. Praying today is not an anxiety ridden day. I HATE that!
    MENOPAUSE IS NOT FOR SISSIES!

Dan, some men call those shadows that circle the chin a beard. Some women in certain states have more beard than some of those men.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Just Duckey! or is it Ducky?

I'm happy to be alive - taking nourishment - and gainfully employed!

And how about you Lea, How are you doing on this beautiful and wonderful Monday morning in June?

PS - Jim - I see nothing wrong with women wearing beards - if it's naturally grown!
