    Have a blessed Lord's Day, Roger. I'm heading to bed here exhausted.

    Son and family arrived in LA and were at the "fish taco" place across from their hotel when they called an hour ago. Going to meet the staff at their new ministry (Saddleback) tomorrow, then house hunt Monday-Tuesday before flying home.

    But after a week with them here and then my three weddings today, I deserve to hit the sack before midnight!

    Good morning all!

    Had a very restful night's sleep last night. Everyone else is still asleep. I will be waking them up in about an hour so they can eat breakfast before going to SS and church.

    Seth (10) and Noah (8) are here from Indiana and will be spending several days with me this week so they can play with Brent. I will have three boys.....10 - 10 - 8. Oh my!

    Thank goodness VBS is this week. That will give me a break during the mornings anyway!

    Morning to all you across the pond.

    Great day in church today. I was going to do an overview of Psalm 118, but only got through verse 1 [​IMG] .

    Here's why if you think about it.

    "O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever"

    3 points
    1) Give thanks to the Lord
    2) The Lord is good
    3) The Lord's mercy endures forever

    That's plenty for 45 minutes!!

    "God is good, everyday, all the time!"

    Sue - you'll find out this week why God lets us have our children when we are young!

    Doc - you do more travelling and maybe more preaching - but especially more weddings - than I do - and I can still walk - even though last night - after spending hours on my feet - working around the house and in the garden - my feet were talking to me - loudly!

    Now if I had a lap top - and could hook it up to our 32" TV - then I might post in my recliner in the living room. -- but I'm sure that three of our six cats would be trying to get on my lap - and who knows what they might post - might get me in trouble! :eek:

    Come on, Dan!! Easier to teach them to say "Meow!" than it is to teach a K-9 how to say, "Bow-Wow??"

    3 1/2 hours till Bible Study/Sunday School. Cloudy, cool, just ate dinner...what do you think I am going to do for the next hour or so?

    Off to SS and church now.

    We will eat dinner at Bonanza (Christian-owned steakhouse with hot and cold salad bars).

    Then we will be visiting my sis and her hubby this afternoon. They are in their mid 70's and have celebrated 55 years of wedded bliss!

    Boy Howdy and blessed Lord's Day to you all. Since I had all the wedding hoopla yesterday, I opted not to take a preaching engagement this week. There was no pressing need anywhere (thank you, Jesus) so I can just drop by church and say "Hey" - maybe give my tithe check as I will be out all four Sundays in July - with no responsibility.

    God bless all you preaching and teaching and ministering today. Know that there are tired and weary people, like me, who are waiting to be fed from the Word.

    52F in Casper at 9 a.m. with a few clouds. Maybe some more t'storms in the afternoon. We got over .3 inch from the storm yesterday (up on the mountain it had only sprinkled so the wedding went smoothly).

    Lovely thunderstorms this afternoon so nice napping weather here! Nick TRIED to swim but the rain began.... LOL

    I only had 8 in Sunday School. Seems like so many are on vacation but the children enjoyed the craft and really messed up my story. Agabus who came from Jerusalem to tell Barnabas about the need in their community ended up being the 'church bus driver'!!!

    NEXT Sunday we begin S/S at 9:15, church at 10:30 and then a big barbeque, horseshoes, volleyball, wiffle ball, etc. I'm trying to decide on a fun craft that the kids can make that won't turn into a danger for others. Thought of these....

    Could make these as bracelets or headbands, tho. [​IMG]
