Ok I'm looking for a thread and I cannot seem to find it. It's not that old and i'm wondering where it is. It was talking about Ronald Regan being a Christian. I recieved my Decisions magizine today and there is a wonderful article about remembering Ronald Regan. :-S

    Hopelessly lost,

    Good evening!

Had a pleasant day. Went for a ride with the little lady after work.

Had zucchini (not from my garden) for supper - that was good - as was the chicken and the red potato and the salad!

    Have a good night!

Evening to all. Just getting ready to settle down for therapy. Wow. Having 5 grandkids underfoot is an amazing noise level.

That and they decided to tear up our street, curb and gutter so we have jack-hammer instead of birds to wake to each morn. But at least the big "Bob-the-Builder" trucks and shovels keep the little ones occupied.

    Morning to all.

Dr Bob, how is "Pudgie" ?

It's partly cloudy and 10C here this morning - nice and cool and I am off to Dublin for the day.

Daughter brought her home late this evening. The MD's decided she was NOT being abused and that she didn't have further injuries.

Daughter feels terrible, but they doped up the baby so she should sleep through this painful time of adjustment.

It is 45F here but won't get much cooler. 75+ tomorrow so we will head to a Rockies Baseball game with the sons and grandsons.

I remember that fear of accusation of abuse when our Zeke broke his leg as a baby. I can really feel for the family, Dr Bob. Let them know that we are praying.

    Good morning all:

I remember when my youngest son was just learning to open and close the car door by himself and he slammed the door on his thumb.

Our visit to the ER put me 'under scrutiny'. When I finally realized why they were asking so many questions I was insulted, then I got mad.

Today, with mothers doing all sorts of things to their babies (including murder) I can better understand why the doctors were so cautious...

The weather is going to be more 'normal' today than it has been lately. High of 75º - humidity at 94% already this morning!

Brent and I are going to clean house today (vacuum, dust, mop floors) before the weather turns really hot again. He is a good helper!

    Making coffee...

Good to read the little one is coming along after the tumble.

We should be thankful that doctors and medical staff ask questions to resolve the abuse question. They just might save a life!

They ask a lot of questions at the border when we are transporting the grands. Frankly, I am thankful they do with all the mischief that goes on. We prepare ahead and get a court letter stating we have parental permission (both) to have the children.

Cheers everyone. Have a good morning!

    Jim

    Good morning Jim:

I agree it is good that doctors ask questions when a child has a 'suspicious' injury. I was just so shocked that they would imply I would hurt my child when it happened!

I don't get a court letter, but I always make sure I have a notarized paper stating that we have permission to have the grands and also have permission to have them treated medically (and this is just from one state to another)!

Brent is up and wanting me to fix him biscuits and gravy for breakfast, then we will be busy around the house.

Will pop back in this afternoon,

Morning all! It's already 75° and the humidity is at 80% but we have a slight breeze so far.

Jim sleeps in after working til after midnight so I can't start any noisy housework until he awakes. I've at least learned to go on to bed and get to sleep so I don't even know when he gets in bed. MUCH better than my waiting up, talking til 2:00 a.m. and then trying to get up for Nick at 7:30!

Hope everyone has a lovely day!
    Diane

I guess from working with battered women, I see a lot of "innocent" men and women who abuse their children for selfish reasons. In society, they are the picture of innocence, but in reality use children as pawns in the "game" of life.

Sadly, this is not limited to the unsaved people of the world.

    Cheers,

    Jim

But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless. Nothing is as wonderful as knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have given up everything else and count it all as garbage. All I want is Christ and to know that I belong to him. I could not make myself acceptable to God by obeying the Law of Moses. God accepted me simply because of my faith in Christ. All I want is to know Christ and the power that raised him to life. I want to suffer and die as he did, so that somehow I also may be raised to life. I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for what is ahead. I run toward the goal, so that I can win the prize of being called to heaven. This is the prize that God offers because of what Christ Jesus has done. (Philippians 3:7-14 CEV)

Boy Howdy from sunny and warming Wyoming. 56F and each day this week is supposed to be about 78-80F

Road work out front (other side of the street this week) is shaking the house like a vibrator. Another interesting day ahead!

Whew, glad to hear the hospital let her come home Dr. Bob! A lot of people here are starting to take their kids out of town to go to the ER when possible because of the local hospitals resistance to believing that some kids really do get hurt by accidents!

It's a nice day here. Not too hot, not too cold. Yet. [IMG]
Anna's speech therapy appointments are at 8 am twice a week now, church on Sundays, and with everything else I've given up all hope of setting the alarm clock forward an hour for the summer.

    *sigh*

Morning to all from sunny Mesa Arizona. We will have a cool 105 today, with no rain in sight (surprize).

Dr Bob glad to hear the grand daughter is doing better and things worked out well.

My dad moved his left arm some yesterday. He starts therapy today. God is so good.

    Have a great day all!!!
