Just popping in to say good night folks. It's been a pretty exhausting day - more emotionally than physically (which is harder on ME).

Will cya all bright and early in the morning.

    Pleasant dreams all!

Just popping in to say good morning!

(Just corrected a typo in "popping" that would have made a good start for a "bloopers" thread [IMG] . Use your imagination, but it involved an "o" instead of an "p")

[IMG] I'd have paid to see that one, Roger!

I'm pooped [see, I'm not afraid to use a little scatalogical humor] out after an exhausting day with the kids. Mostly with my son Josh - very special time going back over my first pastorate and major moves afterward.

Lots of physical activity (our family plays a game like jai-alai and lacrosse on the big high school lawn a half block from me). Teaching little ones how to use these wicker atlatl "bats" is a challenge.

Lots of food (did 35 hamburgers on the grill) and then went to Yellowstone Drug for famous double-chocolate malts. Oh my.

Sat from 10 pm to 1 am going through family albums from 1968-78. Will aim for 10 more years (and five more albums) tomorrow night! I take lots of pix and my wife is super faithful to label and get them in.

So going to take 5 more minutes (it's getting late) and hit a couple threads then off to bed. Have the CIRCUS in the afternoon and a Wyoming Cavalry Indoor Football game tomorrow night.

    Oh my.

Good morning! Lovely sunny day here at 7:59, after a rainy night. We are getting ready to shove off for Syracuse. The grands go home to-day and Mary along wih them. I get to be the grand poopaw this week and call all the shots. Please don't panic. If I have anything major to decide, wife is only a phone call away.

It is a 6 hour round trip drive, but an easy drive. I usually make a few stops on the way back, to visit with friends in NY.

Hi Sheila. Haven't seen you posting for a bit. Been busy? How is school coming?

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good morning from RAINY Illinois!

Wow! I slept in until 7AM this morning! Of course, I didn't get to sleep until after 1AM this morning...

Brent and I had some outdoor activities planned for today, but I guess the rain will pretty much cancel them out. Plus the fact that it is not going to be very warm today. Weather channel is not working this morning, but it is chilly out.

    Off to check other forums...

Good morning everyone! That typo should have been mine! LOL. I'm used to typing without looking at the keys but can't with the bandage on my finger.

Tomorrow I work at the antique shop downtown Douglasville. There's no computer so I won't be online during the day. I'm also working July 1,3, 6, 7, 8th there, for 4 hours a day. The days go pretty quickly because of a lot of walk-in's looking at the pretties and I like to look at them too. One day I had to take Nick. We played a 'what if' game. Elaine has a talking calculator. We pretended we had a brand new log cabin and could spend as much money as we wanted to decorating it. We took turns going round the store 'ordering' antiques. It was a lot of fun. We'd tell each other where we'd put the item in our 'new home'.

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Boy Howdy - hey "YOU'RE WELCOME". We sent you all the cold air we could. Saw a little of the College World Series game on TV (Omaha) and everyone was bundled in sweatshirts and windbreakers.

Another beautiful day here in Wyoming. Can't remember a June with as cool weather. So much for global warming -- guess that will come in July! We are 57F with some high clouds and doubt it will hit 70F for a high.

Office manager at the wife's clinic had to head to Salt Lake last night to help with a family crisis, SO I will have to miss the circus this afternoon and put in 6 hours at the clinic. But will be done in time to go to the IFL Football game with the two sons (women are taking the kids and going to the mall so we men can have a little time together).

Sure will miss all this activity when both of my boys move to the LA area Aug 1. [IMG]

Lovely day in Philly. We're having our annual church family picnic tomorrow, hope the weather holds. Grillin' hamburgers and hot dogs for all, and there's a share table for salads and desserts. Games for the kids, a Scrabble tornament for the older ones, fun for all! If you're in the neighborhood, drop by!

It is a GREAT DAY in South Dakota. Sunny, 75*F., Low humidity.

I think I am going to take a walk with my wife after work so that we can enjoy the day.

Yep, nuthin' but green stuff, complex carbs, fats, and protein, topped off with plenty of Crystal Light Iced tea. Well, maybe one piece of my daughter's apple pie - she doesn't put much sugar in it, but lots of cinnamon!
