Good evening everyone. I have to admit i've been offline enjoying a beautiful day here in missouri. It was very hard to stay indoors. But, alas the day is almost over SOO it's time to come inside and make home made pizza :D ... How are your days going ?

    Hi all.
I'm all sad. Barry (the Helen and Barry one) is sick, please pray for him.
It also means their visit here is cancelled. :(
All when I had THE perfect practical joke figured out. *sigh* You KNOW nobody from the BB could ever come and visit me without SOMETHING of that sort happening! :D
So, I need another victim....errr, friend, to come on out here. This one was kinda good and I don't want to waste it. Any volunteers? Let me see that hand!

LOL Oh Lea! Dr. Bob might have to cross the land of Lincoln and he'd NEVER do that!

Gina, I'm so sorry to hear Barry is ill! I hope it's nothing serious and that he feels better really soon. He's such a fun person! I know he'd have enjoyed your prank. Helen could have taken photos too! LOL

It has been wet and nasty here too. Tonight was family night for VBS. We had a great time. It is so refreshing sometimes to be with lost people. Reminds me from where I came.

Now I am puttin' up corn and squash. Got a big ol' mess of 'em. Have to do it this late while my precious little "helpers" are resting up.

I appreciate the thought TaterTot. So many people miss that aspect of beingwith lost people. Over here we are ALWAYS with lost people so that burden is ever before us. It is a rare thing for us to be among Christians.

Go through Illinois? I've been to the grave of Abe once, but ran outta spit.

I did my internship at Medinah/Roselle (western suburbs of Chicago) so know Illini land way too well.

Am thankful my son is moving to LA so I don't have to even go to Ohare to change planes! He and his family are taking a long weekend starting tomorrow to go house hunting. Expensive place to live, for sure.

BTW, HEY, it's been a great day in Wyoming. Another wave of cold front passed this afternoon just as the heat of the day was building. So by the time we got out of the football game (indoor, Wyoming Cavalry won, 51-39 over the Red Dogs of Rapid City) we needed a jacket or sweater.

Two anxious messages on the machine when my son Josh and I arrived home from outdoor weddings on the agenda for tomorrow. Weather looks like t'storms building after lunch.

Why folks think they should be married outside is beyond me! I'm an old-fashioned church wedding type of guy!

Good morning! The sun is rising here and it is always a refreshing sight to remind us tht Jesus did not settle in the tomb, but rose again.

Saturday and many mundane things to be done about the house. Since wife is not here for me to pass them along, I shall have to do them myself.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Sooooooo, there's noone at the house for you to use that "Delegating Authority" on, right, Ninety-nine?? Finding it difficult to delegate the work to your own self---can't see as to how I can blame you----when the wife gets back that'll just mean more stuff to delegate!

And good morning to you all! Ir rained gently most of the night because I remember hearing it tapping on the gutters. It was a pleasant sound. Nice and cool here too! I wish it would be overcast all day but that won't happen!

I'm working in the antique store til 2 today. Thank the Lord for that help! ALSO... got a call last night from a nice family in church. I have their son in S/S. The mother has had to return to work and she's asked if I were looking for some afterschool child care. I told her that I was asking $80. for 2 children and she was thrilled and asked me to please put her down as a definite yes! She gets off work at 5:00 but works in Atlanta so it might be after 6 by time she gets home. Still, that's just over 3 hours. Praise the Lord again~

We had the saem kind of night, but the sun is out now and it is up to 17C. I have a LOT of office work to do today and Mary is working on Kids Klub Kamp (VBS). We are using the Castle Kids theme from RBP and have a team coming from America to help. Our VBS is the 12th-16th July.

    To Diane,
Praise the Lord for you and Jim. You are nor afraid to do your part in allowing Him to meet your needs! Amen and Amen. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Jim - you should have kept one of the grandchildren - like Sue does - then you'd have someone to put to work! [IMG]

    Sunny in Canisteo this AM!

    Hello everyone.

Well, it is still pouring with rain here. I am going to go out and pick some raspberries and loganberries before the birds get to feast on them and then I am going to do some more reading.

Rob and I went into Gloucester to by colouring stuff for Luke and Zoe for when they come to stay. We had a great time looking round the toy departments. :D

    Will look in later,

    God Bless

    Good morning all!

Brent and I took advantage of the cooler weather yesterday and rode our bicycles almost 10 miles! I packed a picnic lunch for us and we rode out into the country 5 miles and ate our lunch by a babbling creek. Then we stretched out and took a nap before riding the 5 miles back!

It was wonderful! No phone - no computer - no Nintendo game... We enjoyed the peace and quiet so much, I didn't even come on line last night.

After supper we played a board game, "WWJD", that we had picked up at the Salvation Army Store. Just what we all needed after an emotional 'up and down' week!

This morning we slept late and we just finished consuming the wonderful 'farmer's' breakfast I cooked.

We are spending the day outside today. I enjoy watching the squirrels break open the hickory nuts, from a tree in our back yard, and stealing the meat and 'squirreling' them away in their 'winter nest' and leaving the outer mess for me to clean up off the sidewalk! They come right up to us when we're sitting in the lawn chairs.

    Cyal,
Grandma §ue (having a GREAT time!)
