I am going to write my 'concession' speech and go to bed. :D

Brent and I have been watching rented DVD's. I'm opting for watching TV in bed.

I have to get up very early tomorrow morning to deliver the papers. I'm going to let everyone else sleep in as I think it is going to be raining.

I told Brent he could lay on the couch and watch his DVD's and it was no big deal if he fell asleep there.

I am weary of watching 'cartoon' DVD's though and am ready for some of the "Law and Order" marathon that is on USA network...

    Pleasant dreams all and

Back at you all. Boy Howdy and Happy New Year (in a few hours) from Wonderful Wyoming. We still have a house-full, although my daughter and family made it back safely to Wisconsin.

Did a wedding (New Year's Eve?) and did end of month and end of quarter at the clinic. HAD to be gone from the zoo here for 7 hours. WHAT A JOY!!

But love the hectic noise and energy of this crew!

Let me tell you, with 6 kids and 8 grandkids in our little house, our world has been upended.

BB is usually LAST on the limited time on the 'net this old grandpa gets. Sure hope someone ELSE is leading the stoning of heretics! :D

Hello everyone. I thought I would drop by and be the first to congratulate, (without mentioning names, it is unofficial)our new member of the year. Now I am both happy and sad here. Happy that a close colleague is the apparent winner, but sad that only one can win. I look down the list of vote getters and I see no losers there, especially the one that fell a few votes short.
If one were to take a casual look at the life of Jesus of Nazareth, one might conclude, "What a loser" (just another Jew the Romans crucified), yet He pulled off the greatest victory in the history of mankind in that He conquered sin, death, hell and the devil.
We are all winners in Him!

Beans and cornbread will be the highlight
of the day. We are watching the Georgia
Bulldogs playing today, as we have 2
extreme bulldog fans in the house.

Roger, Congrats to you. It's good to see
that a "popular" person won and not someone
    who is doctrinally sound.

LOL, Sheila, he's making a jest because of a post saying the MOY was only a popularity contest and not based on doctrine, etc.

Dr. Bob won in 2001. Helen won in 2002. I won in 2003 and now Roger for 2004.

I've been wondering about that Irish doctrine, though. [IMG]

    Good afternoon everyone!

I hope everyone's New Year's celebration is going well. We've already eaten our traditional dinner of ham, blackeye peas and cabbage(instead of turnip greens which noone likes). Now the kids are back to playing video games and T is asleep on the couch. I guess you can tell what I'm doing.
