HI Gayla. Yep. Trying to finish up our school year and start some spring cleaning. I've got the little ones today so I'm 'trapped' until about 1:30. We'll finish up our school the first week of June most probably.

Is it cold and windy for you too Gayla? Tomorrow should be much better but today is an inside day for the kids here!

    Good morning all:

Cold and windy here too. 19º with a wind chill of 9º. I am SO waiting for Spring with bated breath!!!

That one 60º day we had last week just ruined me and I won't be satisfied until warm weather gets here to stay for awhile!

Brent has his last regular basketball game this Saturday, then the next two Saturdays are the final tournaments.

We are in the middle of school right now, but thought I would pop in anyway...

It flurried here, but Viv said it was snowing in Lebanon, TN, 60 miles N of here. It was pretty heavy. It's around 30 here.

Viv and I tried to go to church last night, but, I guess that fall really sent me for a lulu. Vivian said my eyes were red and I looked like I was "stoned". Guess that YooHoo was stronger than I though! LOL

It's quite windy here right now. The birds are having a hayday with the wind, doing all kinds of ariel acrobatics.

I may not be on here much today, so have a great day, all! [IMG]

The only time it snows here is when someone brushes the dandruff off their shoulders.

Tony, Selsun Blue (Selenium) was just listed on the govts. site as a carcinogen! ALSO, I got an allergy alert! The pollen is mid range already. I wondered why my eyes are gunky and itching.

I wouldn't use Selsun if it was the last product on earth....it burned my scalp a few years back...truly!

Pollen counts are high here....even with it so cold. Can't believe it!

We are all careful about ingesting poisons, additives, coloring, etc in our food. Hate to breath in polutants.

So where do we get stuff that will KILL us? Two common items - anti-perspirant (aluminum) and shampoo. Amazing at how much junk is absorbed through the largest organ in the human body - our skin.

I have a sermon waiting to come out . . you don't want to get me started!

Yep, I was laughing like crazy and then saw what you were talking about. Dr. Bob just shaved his beard so he doesn't need hairspray for THAT. ;)

Okay - poisons we willingly take in:

    1. Shampoo (chemical stew)
    2. Hair coloring (Just for Men #1 ingred. is lead)
    3. Hair spray (most problem in lungs)
    4. Cosmetics (can't begin to tell of lead, etc)
    5. Anti-perspirant (deoderants are okay)
    6. Baths (soak in chlorine/chlorimides)

    And in the home?
    1. Candles (made from dregs of barrel of oil)
    2. Oven Cleaner (fumes are toxic)

    Let's add to the list . . .

I'm off to work and not back until late evening. Let's talk poison while I'm gone!!

Our candles here are made from SOY Dr. Bob. Vivian makes them. [IMG] I could shave my head and not use shampoo, and I could use cinnamon for deoderant. One thing is for sure, I HAVE to take a bath...Now if only I could get our water filter for the whole house bought.... ;) I don't wear cosmetics or use hair spray! [IMG]
