Hey Chips, I'll bet you it wouldn't be hard to find some young mother who'd be glad for you to come play with her two year old for a while. Taking care of one for a few hours will reset your biological clock quite well!

I am so proud that mine are all potty trained and through with the mayhem that toddlers cause. If I could keep them this age for a few years though I would. They are fun to have around right now, for the most part.

Diane, I use Cook's Pest Control. They do both our Sentricon temite service and our inside pest control. At one time I used Terminex but while they kept the bugs(german roaches) under control they never completely got rid of them. Within six months of Cook's taking over the bugs were gone. There are still no bugs in the house we used to live in and they don't spray there anymore.

In this house we have pine bugs(big roaches). It was infested when we moved in(although we didn't know it), from the folks before us using the wood fireplace. Again within a few months they were under control and now I rarely see one and if I do it is usually already dead. Everyone in the neighborhood has problems with these things either inside or out. Lots of trees in our neighborhood providing them with a place to live.

That's so sad. I can't imagine having had a child when I was that young. I would have had so much help from my mom however that she probably wouldn't have let my kid have real bad behavior. I just hope that God really has given me the man to marry and have children with. I can't wait to find out someday.

I THOUGHT so. Jim works for Cook's Pest Control. [IMG]

Well I had my first baby at 20 but we were born older. I don't think this mom is married. She talks about the father and moving here but has never said 'husband', doesn't wear a wedding band and the checks are in two names. I'm guessing her age because she said was telling Nick about something she had a couple years ago when she was a junior in high school. She has no idea that allowing him to be wild is not good. She dresses him well, always bring good foods and 100% juices but it's really like seeing a big sister play with her baby brother than a mother and child. Guess she'll figure it out sooner or later. I've tried mentioning behaviors that I'm working on with him.....

I play with my boyfriends Nephew. It just makes me want one worse. The only career I have ever really wanted was the mother career. In time.

Haha, that's funny Diane. I knew Jim was coming to Alabama for training but for some reason thought he was working for Home Depot! LOL.

All in all we've been a Cook's customer for 8-9 years.

I was 28 when I had my first baby and I was still too young! She still turned out perfect though.

    See ya Chips.

Jim had been offered a job with Home Depot but he didn't take it. Those jobs working every Sunday are bad!

Good night to you Sue and others. I was up late and got little sleep with early morning (6 am) work. Ugh. IS THAT HOW NORMAL PEOPLE LIVE??

Anyway, I'm going to watch the news and go to bed before midnight. Wife won't know what to do if I come to be WITH her instead of 3 hours after!!

Moring all - up early since I couldn't sleep. Ate WAY to well last night in a very "posh" (read expensive) resturant. It was a gift from an adult reading student. I couldn't prononucemost of the foods, but the portions were large and the food was amazing.

I don't sleep well when I eat late though.

I love them so very much, but I tell you, sometimes I am run flat ragged. There's always something to clean up, some fight to referree, someone needing to potty, toys on the floor, but hey - its great!

Morning all. I've been up since 1:45am when Vivian got up. We didn't get to bed until after 8:30pm last night. We were in the doctors office until almost 8pm. It took them a long time to find a good place to draw blood from me, but they finally got it out of my knuckle on back of my right hand (index finger one), and it took four minutes to get the blood after the needle was inserted. They took two vials.
But, there is a praise! [IMG] My hemoglobin counts are up to 12 (still need to be at 15 for my size and being a man) and the cancer screening came back clear. I have another one in six months. I go back for more blood work (hemo counts) in a month.
Vivian's sinus' are pretty well cleared up, but he's keeping an eye on one sinus cavity that is constantly infected. It's a "little" inflamed, but not nearly as severely are it was two months ago! That was good news, too! [IMG]

Hope all is well with everyone today! God bless and keep you! Dr. Bob and Roger, get some sleep. I'm going to go lie down in a few minutes. My pills are kicking in. Thank the Lord!

Made it back from the so-so state of Florida. I don't know why they call it the sunshine state. It was wet, cold, windy and extremely overcast.

Tony-Blackbird and I can help the doctor find a way to get a steady stream of blood out of you. Can't say it won't be painful, but we will get the job done.

Can you believe the first Ground Hog day was celebrated in 1867?

Than means that for the past 138 years, we have been getting our Spring forecast from an overgrown rat!

Come to think of it... [IMG]

I think the Groundhog is treated better than most weather forecasters. So so sad.

Both have a 50-50 chance of getting it right.

We waited and waited for the ice and snow. We were warned, we watched, but it went somewhere else. We are very fortunate. It is raining a little, but the temp is above freezing.

I think I will do something exciting today...like getting the tax info ready for our accountant. :D

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Just a quick hello, all.
I've got so much to do today. Tuesdays and Thursdays with little Jack really mess up my chore schedule!

The last load is in the wash and Nick's probably half finished with his work. Almost time for lunch!

Hope everyone is well today. I was SO glad to hear that hemoglobin report, Tony!
