She's posted a few times today. If her weather is nice enough, she walks six miles a day.

Just a quick hello and good night. We had loads of kids tonight even with a lot of the church family out sick. Several teachers were out both for choir and AWANA. It went fine tho. I was late getting back in. Jim had to work late so I had to drive BLIND.

See you all tomorrow. I have little Jack from about 8:30 until around 1:30 so I'll be sitting in this chair all that time.

Just popping in to say good night. We were able to pick up our tithe/offering statement at church tonight so I was able to finish the taxes. I'm always glad when that job is done!

    Pleasant dreams all!

I thought DAEWOO's car division went belly-up after just two or three years.

My sister had a 2001 or 02 Nubira until about two weeks ago. It was starting to need something fixed every month, so she traded it for a Ford F-150 pick-up truck.

"But, there is a praise! My hemoglobin counts are up to 12 (still need to be at 15 for my size and being a man) and the cancer screening came back clear. I have another one in six months. I go back for more blood work (hemo counts) in a month."

    That's great, Tony.

Finally got to see muy Oncologist today, and my Hemoglobin was 13, right where it should be. He said all my 'numbers' are right where they're supposed to be. Will check again in May.

Just popping and hoping to get a HOT cuppa coffee..I'm freezing!

    In Indiana the weather's bitter.
Illinois gets snow soon if not as we speak..
    And Georgia gets mild temps.

I need DRY weather, dry ground and a new septic system..Mine went bottoms up.

Would you extend a trial walker a friendly cup of coffee?

Good morning Mommyperson and all who will be stopping in later:

Here's your coffee and good luck with the walking!

It's 27º here right now with dense fog, heading for a high of 43º. I haven't heard anything about snow, but that doesn't mean anything in Illinois...

I slept in until 6:00 this morning! I think doing the taxes wore me out, but at least they're done for another year. [IMG]

The 5th grade basketball teams are playing during half-time at the High School game tomorrow night and Brent is very excited! I will have two grandsons playing against each other. :(

    Cruising,

Good morning all! It's 40 degrees here, and we have a misty/rain type thing going on. It's not bad at all. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow! PRAISE THE LORD!! [IMG]

Gayla, EXCELLENT! God is good, and I'll be praying your numbers stay right where they should be. :)

Well, gotta scoot! I've got a LOT of boxes to unpack today, and Viv's not here to help. She's working 10 hour days today through Saturday, so she'll have some overtime the week. That's good, because we sure can use it.

Be good, ya'll, and have a wonderful day! [IMG]

If I make it through today, I'll need for tomorrow to be Friday!

I'm just stopping long enough to say hello and grab a glass of orange juice..

I have a dentist appointment in less than 30 minutes and after that I have to take my MIL in to B'ham to her heart doctor to find out why she has been having chest pains the last couple of days. Ya'll pray for her, she just had a stint put in in November and heart trouble runs down both sides of her family.

Ya'll have a good day. Tony, Gayla I'm glad to hear things are loking up healthwise for the two of you.

I thought I had stopped by to say goodmorning. Guess I said it on another thread or meant to and just didn't.

I have Jack along with the others today but he's been pretty good. I've found that by never letting him start running or or jumping that he remains much more calm. I put in R. Briggs' 'The Snowman' and he'll watch it over and over. There are no words.... just very calming music in the background. Also let them watch Ben and Eddie: The Meeting, Eddie Finds a Home. VERY touching video for kids. They didn't MOVE! Just another hour and his mom will be here.

Had to put Ty in time out. I let him get by with bothering the cat 3 times by just asking him to please not do that. The 4th time I had him sit for 3 mins. Immediately he got up and chased the cat downstairs screaming and growling. I put him in his little bed for 15 mins. and told him I was going to have to tell his mother. He's not ever pushed the envelope this far HERE but mom said he sure does at home. I'm quite sure he's jealous of Jack. Ty's been calling me mama a lot now and Jack and he fight over my lap. It's not a very big lap either. Ty's a good sized boy.

menagerie, I'll be praying for your MIL. You've got to take a breather sometime, lady!

Diane, remember, chasing cats and growling is a 'guy thing'! [IMG] Hope he catches that critter some day....uh...I'll shut up now! [IMG]

    Hi folks [IMG]
Menagerie, will pray for your MIL.
Diane, After we watched "The Snowman" at your house, the kids asked for it for two months! It is a sweet video.
Wonder if it's still available out there, somewhere . . .
And we need to get another Thomas and Friends, Wesley can quote word-for-word the one we got for Christmas.

Sorry Tony! The Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and SELF CONTROL. I see NO disclaimers for boys of ANY age. ;) ;)

Gayla, we found the Snowman with a Father Christmas combo on DVD. I don't like the Christmas one. Santa drinks and smokes. You can order that Snowman just about anywhere. It's VERY calming. I let Jack watch it twice today.

I get to sleep LATE tomorrow! Yeah!!! I need it. I've had trouble going back to sleep each morning so I'm really tired!

At home again for just a little bit. The kids are still gone so I am enjoying the quiet house.

MIL is to go in for a stress test early next week. The doctor seemed a little puzzled about the chest pain, but said it was possible for another blockage to develope this quickly. MIL has some minor buildup in some other places but nothing the doctor thought was serious at the time of her first stint. He also said it was possible that scar tissue was developing around the stint itself. He said this was not a comman occurance. For now he gave her nitroglycerin for the chest pains and said for her to go to the ER if she gets worse before he can see her again next week.

Diane, there is just something about boys that make them want to make noise! Son is all the time making some sort of noise. I'll be in another room and think "what am I hearing?" and it'll be him, either playing with something or just making noise for the fun of it. Earplugs work for me. ;)

My brother (BaptistTeacher) says 'boys' and 'noise' rhyme for a reason . . .
