    Good morning all:

I was so tired last night that I forgot to stop by and say good night!

Brent and I worked on the spare bedroom getting it in shape and back to a bedroom, rather than a storage room.

Just in time too, I found out last night that my oldest daughter, Laura, from Indiana, will be spending the night here tonight, with two of her sons (Seth and Noah).

Tomorrow morning, we are picking up Timmy, Brent's half-brother, and he will be spending all day tomorrow and tomorrow night, with us, and will be going to church with us Sunday.

It's shaping up to be a busy week-end! Of course, I can't forget to do the papers early both mornings...

We need to make a trip to Wally World and Aldi's (for extra snacks) today after Brent finishes his school work.

It is supposed to be 52º here today and 55º tomorrow, with sunshine yet! THAT is going to be WONDERFUL!

    Cruising,

    Good morning everyone:

Got up as usual at 2am with Viv, but HAD to go back to bed after she left. The fog here this morning was horrendous, and she nearly drove off into a ditch before she ever left our driveway. So, she backed all the way up and started over. She said "I can see why people become disoriented in the fog, it's easy to lose all sense of direction", when she called just a few minutes ago. I thank God she made it to work okay. That's 60 miles from here.

The temp is 28 here right now, but is supposed to be 56 today and then 65 tomorrow! Whooooeeeee! It's a heat wave! [IMG] Viv came home early yesterday again (something IS going on at work, but nobody seems to know what) and she may come home early today. She still works tomorrow, and they're talking about MANDATORY Sunday 6 to 8 hours. It's supposed to get "back to normal" Monday. We're praying so. Not that this is bad, just wondering about "job security", if there really is such a thing any more. Please pray that her side business picks up some so that we can have a bit more stable income.

Well, ya'll be good, and MAKE IT a Wonderful Day! [IMG]

    Tony and Viv

How is everyone doing today? I have been talking with Sprint all morning trying to get my rebate on the new phone I bought in December. I told them they needed to get 'all their ducks in a row'.

Going to relax for a few before doing the papers and the corner. I have three overnight guests tonight and one tomorrow night.

    HAGD!

    Hey, Sue, that's my line!
Actually you should tell them that they are suffering from a "severe nonlinear waterfowl issue."
If they can figure that out, they may be smart enough to actually help you.

Hey there! I've not got any children today except my Nick so I've been cleaning. I'm BEAT and I'm still not finished.

Jim's home for a while. He had to take my 2002 VUE for a recall repair today and then he has an appointment this afternoon near home and one tomorrow.

    Just returned from the Dentist

I'm still working on our taxes. I hope to have them ready to send to the accountant on Monday.

    HI guys,
Well I got a LOT done today but have more I want to get done tomorrow. Jim has 2-3 appointments tomorrow so he'll be gone most of the day. I've got some contacts to make for church tomorrow afternoon. [IMG]

The new show, NUMB3RS, is on tonight opposite Monk. I watch it and watch Monk on another night/ network. [IMG] I like both but like NUMB3RS better so far.

    Hey ya'll.

I'm dragging today. What I thought yeaterday was a minor allergy attack has turned into a full blown nasty cold. I'm very busy feeling sorry for myself.

Today is T's birthday so I've been busy getting things ready for him. We'll actually celebrate tomorrow since he couldn't get away from work today.

It has been one of those days though. The cold I was ready to ignore but then the guy that was supposed to come out and install the new DVR between 8 and 12 didn't show up until 2:30. It wouldn't have been a problem if he had simply called so I could have gone on and taken care of some other things and then come back for him. But no, that would have been to simple and maybe made life a little easier for me the customer.

I ended up having to take the kids with me to pick up the cake, have Precious' hair cut, and let them pick out T a gift, all after 4 o'clock. The rest of the stuff I needed to get done will just have to wait till some time this weekend. I really, really didn't want to have to accomplish anything this weekend. I had the house pretty much clean and was going to be content to watch the kids and T destroy it again from the comfort of my recliner.

Oh well, I've had my whine for the day. I think I'll go see if Pizza Hut has my pizza ready(I need cheese to go with my whine). The kids wanted to try their new "dipping strips" tonight and I'm hungry.

    Enjoy your evening!

Sounds like your family has had more than their share of illness this winter, girl! GET WELL SOON!

I can sleep in again tomorrow morning! I really enjoy these 3 days a week. Never realized how much a couple of extra hours can mean. I can't get back to sleep soon enough once Ty gets here and Tues. and Thurs., he's followed by Jack at 8:30. YAWN..... I've been tired all day tho but did get a lot done and a nice meal fixed early for a change. [IMG]

Our highs are to be mid 60°'s for the next week at least. Lots of showers in the forecast tho. We'll probably still have one really cold spell before spring. Not complaining tho!

Our son Jon is thinking of moving back this way. He's in a gorgeous condo in Atlanta. His roommate is training for Iraq and she subletted her part of the condo to a gay guy. Jon is FREAKING out. They really do not speak. The guy spends all his time in his room and is a hard drinker. He came right from Fla. but it's only a short term lease for him. Not short enough for Jon. He won't move back home. He's 28 and thinks that's just too old to live with mom.

It was cold today and will be tomorrow. The weatherman said it will be sunny. Well, we'll just have to see about that. Even though the SuperBowl is in Jacksonville, traffic is picking up here. Many people are staying on the barrier islands. Several folks from the office are going to the game. How did they score those tickets?

    Good morning all:

I have the papers done and my guests are still sleeping. They will leave after breakfast and then Brent has a basketball game. Then we will pick up his brother to spend time with us until tomorrow afternoon.

I am tired already! I went to bed early enough, but there were three boys (all the same age) next door to me in Brent's bedroom. The giggling kept me awake until midnight...

We were minus one son last night and to my surprise, there was no bickering or fighting. I can't imagine why. We all went to bed early and have a full day ahead of us. Full of the things we want to do, so it won't be so bad.

Morning everyone. I slept from 11 ish until the phone rang at 9:15. I was dreaming so I wasn't near waking by myself.

I've got my last load in the wash and the beds are made, kitchen cleaned, etc. I've got some dusting to do so I can put out my spring decorations and phone calls to make for church.

Jon's coming by to do his laundry. The landlord has still not gotten the washer and dryer she promised before he moved and it's costing about $25. a week for his laundry in the laundramat.

It's already 50° here and so bright out. Looks like a good day for a few outside chores. [IMG]

What a beautiful day it has been!

We've spent the day doing Upward Basketball(first game was at 7:45 this morning, so no sleeping in for me) and celebrating T's birthday. We carried him out to one of our better BBQ places for lunch. Then we spent some time shopping.

Now, we're laying around the house enjoying the quiet of a Saturday evening minus one kid. There's no bickering at our house either when one kid is gone. Bitsy is spending the evening with her little best friend who lives up the street. She'll be home eventually and then we'll get the bickering.

I think an early bedtime with the TV remote to keep me company is in my future. I'm going to wander around here for a while first and see what's happening.
