I'm still debating on whether or not to go to work. My fever is gone, but I still feel shakey. My boss is not going to be there today. I could go to work and sleep in my office???

Yes, you should go...then when they see you and say "you shouldn't have come in feeling / looking like that"...you can go home with a clear conscience. Besides, think of all the germs you still have, which they don't want you to share with them...

Monday, a co-worker was sick, hacking and sneezing all over the office. She was talking to another, coughing into the open air. The other person sprayed her with Lysol. She was not to happy, but neither was the other being coughed on.

I sprayed my area down and have hung a sign on my door, "Infectious Content, Enter at Own Risk." No one has knocked on my door, but I have received several inter-office calls.

Well Good Morning All and Welcome Mommyperson!

Gib, I'd want you to stay home. The two little ones I have this morning are coughing like crazy. One is on antibiotics tho. I'd rather not have children come when they're sick but people are infectious BEFORE their symtoms really appear.

I slept really well other than being awakened at 3 a.m. when Nick's t.v. made some odd noises. I also got another hours sleep after time got here. I have a really hard time falling back asleep so was awake from 5:45 until almost 7, then slept til 8 when I had to get up for Jack.

Soup sounds good. Maybe that's what I'll make for supper. I have some frozen turkey. [IMG] No stock tho so I'll have to use canned.

Good morning all. Beautiful day here in the Ozarks. I have already played an hour worth of basketball and now ready to face the office work.

Goodness ya'll are half dead in here!!! I'm praying for a quick recovery for each of you (even Gib).
I went to Kroger this morning and some lady was coughing all over the place. I was pretty grossed out. It makes me want to hide for awhile until everyone is better. I'm a germ-a-phobe.

Praising God I don't have the flu or a cold. My complaint today is arthritis. Every joint in my body just aches. I've had my Celebrex and Tylenol, and it still aches. Would like to go soak in a hot tub, but here I am, trying to type and think. Got a routine dr appt tonight, what should I tell him? "What else have you got for getting old?"

Sorry about your arthritis Debby. I won't take those meds so I'll use aspirin if it gets really bad. My knees and hands are what hurt from arthritis.

I don't THINK I'm going to feel bad with this cold because my skin doesn't hurt. USUALLY my skin hurts if I'm sick. I don't have any fever either. [IMG]

I'll be praying for ya'll , Sue. This crazy winter has made a lot of people susceptible to becoming ill! I've got to go take some more meds, and try to eat something, though nothing really sounds good.

When you all think about it, please keep my wife Rachel in your prayers. She is about 36.5 weeks pregnant. She has an ultrasound and a doctors appointment later today. This is our 4th child and the last 2 have been induced early because of being so large as they were afraid Rachel could not handle the delivery. Our 2nd daughter Mackenzie was 8lbs 4ozs at 3 weeks early and our last daughter McKenna was 8lbs 3ozs at 2 weeks early. The doctor is estimating that this baby is going to be another big one as when my wife was 34 weeks along she measured at 40 weeks. I appreciate your prayers for her and our new baby.

I'll pray for Rachel and the new baby, too, Bro. David. Has the doctor mentioned inducing her soon?

Diane, that is what we are going to discuss with the doctor later today based on the results of the ultrasound.

    Thanks Tony and others.

It is very seldom that Dale and I are both sick at the same time...

Diane, I get that wierd thing with my skin hurting when I am getting sick too.

Sue, praying for you and Dale and a speedy recovery.

Let us know what he decides! I had all my kids 2 weeks early on my own which was a blessing because I'm a very small person and they were normal sized babies for back then (7 lbs plus)
