    Good morning all:

Not much good news to report today. Dale went to work, but shouldn't have. However, if he misses work today, then he misses his holiday pay Monday. He may get sent home again...

I had a better night than I thought I would, but not good, by any means. It's hard to sleep with your chest whistling with every breath!

I didn't eat all day yesterday (but I drank lots of water). I think I'll try some oatmeal and toast this morning.

    CYAL,

Gib's not pregnant and nobody he lives with better be pregnant either.

Sue-when I'm sick like that, all I want is some saltines and sprite.

I'm feeling fiesty this morning, where's that Chipsgirl.

    Mornin' Ya'll:

Sue, you and Dale take care of yourselves.

Viv and I called it a night at 9:30 which is an hour later than normal, but I just couldn't get settled. But, I guess I went to sleep right after getting into bed. I've been up for over a hour and slept all night. This is the 3rd time in two months I've done that, and the fifth time in 25 years.

We have to take the garbage to the convenience center today, and Viv said she's going to line some more shelves in the kitchen so we can pull the rest of the dishes in from the garage. We've got to get some groceries while we're in town, too. Not really sure what we're going to get, though.

Sue, at least Dale gets holiday pay for Monday! Viv has to work! LOL She was sort of upset that she had to use some of her PBA time from work for them sending the plant home three hours early last week. She's talking about getting a second job at Lowe's. Don't know if I'd like her to do that. She's gone enough already! But, I would like the discounts! ;)

Ya'll be good. I need to see what we've got for breakfast!

    T

Gib: When I'm sick, I usually eat saltines with butter and hot tea, but even that didn't sound good yesterday. I should have eaten when I got up this morning. The oatmeal is sounding less appetizing all the time.

Just an all-around 'yucky' feeling kind of day!

Tony: They sent Dale home from work at noon yesterday and made him use a vacation day!

Morning all! My cold has my ears stuffed up but no coughing or feeling bad at all. Nick's got the sniffles too. We both slept 10 hours.

I sure hope the rest of you feel better soon and that your kids don't get sick, or Cheryl!

Well the fella is picking up Jim's car today. We needed to be out from under those payments. We won't make even a penny but at least it's done.

Jim's really down this week. Super negative. Whisper a prayer for him please? He seems to be doubting his ability to make enough sales now that the job goes to commission.

I think it is the uncertainty of making enough in commission sales to break even. It doesn't matter how good of a salesman you are, what does matter is finding customers that are interested in what you have to sell.

In Jim's case, he's not a door to door salesman. That would be even more uncertainty. Pianos are not something people need to survive, but a luxury item. But, If I were going to buy a piano, it would be from a guy who knows how to play one. Jim has a great personality and very approachable. Those qualities are only going to help him.

*by the way, I'm not a man in a womans body or a teenager. I'm actually a kid in a 27 year old's body. Let me out. [IMG]

I'm not bringing it on for you or anyone else. I am above that kind of behavior and at 27 you should be too. Now get to work!!

Sorry, I needed a little extra this morning so I drank my pot of coffee and the one here too! :D

    Morning all!

We are doing pretty good here this morning. Bitsy decided she'd had enough of life in bed and is pretending to be Sue in the recliner. Of course she is being waited on hand and foot!

That's funny MK! Tell Bitsy if she's gonna pretend to be me in the recliner, she's gonna have to learn to crochet!

Gib, Jim's REAL full time job is selling pest control for Cook's Pest Control. He got a new company car and GREAT insurance through them. The 'music' job is by phone call appts. only and since he's gone with Cook's, he's only made $250. with the other job. Cook's is a Christian company and Jim has been able to witness and pray with people while on sales calls. NICE people... but he goes through 'down' times when he isn't very nice to be around and this is one of those times.

Diane-Jim could come here and do very well for himself. We have some pesky pests, if you know what I mean...

I just talked to Jim. His office people had to go to Auburn, Al. for training today and they're on their way home. He won't be home until about 7:00 most probably. He seemed less 'down'.

Jello. My mom used to make jello, take coolwhip and layer it in a glass. That was my dad's favorite. On a stressed out day, mom would tell us not to say "dad" the rest of the evening. All us'ins would go watch a movie and let mom and dad have some adult time. More often than not they would come watch the movie.

    What relaxes Jim?
