Take care. Love your cats. Hate your dogs.

Hey Gib,

We went to that web site and got all excited at the link for SLINGING cats. Then I realized there was a stray cat hair on my monitor. It really said "singing" cats. Singing cats? What's the fun in that?

Hey all!

I have throughly enjoyed my first day in I forget how long, without kids! It has been soooo quiet here.

Spent part of the time running around, again with no kids. It was amazing, I didn't waste any money while I was out.

Sounds like Gib has had another busy cat hating day. For shame!

Welcome Margo!

meditations upon the hound
by A. Feline (ghostwriting for S.O.)

ragged beast with drooling jowls
whose moral nature is so foul

we know thy true and honest name
is nothing more than a scoundral's fame

you swear an oath of a steadfast soul
ready to serve at the belfry's toll

only to bring thy fangs and thy breath
to the throat of thy prey to bring his death

know this, thou horrible hound who wails,
we know thy true spirit is full of betrayals

Hissss!!

I've been reading and you all know how I feel. Now, I'm off to pet my loving little furball Chip. Funny, but he keeps asking for GIB-lets lately. I would love to serve him some. Ha.

Oh No! Not ANOTHER one! Padre, say it ain't so!
Don't tell my cats. They let me live in their house. They are brother and sister. Named them One and Two. Doesn't matter what you call them; they only answer to the can opener.

Thought I could train one of them to hunt ducks but NOOOOOO! Could always give 'em swimming lessons in a burlap sack.

I love our new kitty. She's fit right in. We got her right after New Years. She's grown so much since then too. She sleeps curled up between me and Jim most of the time. When he's left in the morning and I go back to bed, she curls up against my chest and purrs so loud.

Oreo has fit in well too except for the fact that he likes to sleep all day and play all night!

We got a like-new, hide-a-bed, sofa on FreeCycle and Oreo has 'adopted' it. If anyone gets to the couch first, he attacks them!

I tried to sleep there one night when I was sick and he kept me awake half the night running and jumping on the couch and using ME to push off on!

I finally left the couch to him and went to bed.

I'm still the boss though.

Patches sleeps all night once she has her wild time at about 11:00. She'll 'kill' her mouse 3 or 4 times and then bring it to us... mewwwwwwing with pride. She doesn't get up when I get up at 5:30 ish with Ty and I have to move her so I can go back to bed. She stretches out all over. Then she sleeps until Nick comes and wakes us about 8:30. I think having all the kids in the house keeps her awake.
