Good Afternoon ya'll!
I'm not accomplishing very much today! Too much running around to do.
Precious went to the ENT yesterday and was told that her biggest problem right now was not her allergy attack, but that the arteries in her neck were inflamed.

Doc says no one know exactly what causes it, but Precious got a shot and a round of steroids to take to try to get rid of it. She has to go back in a week for a recheck. She is still home from school today, but seems to feel a little better this PM.
The school where Precious attends likes to complain about the kids missing to many days. They send home nasty, intimidating notes and/or call after a kid has been out for a few days in a row. I got the nasty after Precious was out with her ears a few weeks back. My sister is constantly battling them over her son's absences(he has a couple of chronic conditions). Today when they couldn't get me cause I was out getting medicine they made the mistake of calling Sis and asking not only about her son but out Precious as well.(not to sure how they made the connection since we're not really sisters)
By the time she got through with them, they didn't want to talk to me.
I think she told them a mouthful! I called them back just to be sure they had all the info they needed and to assure them that I had the proper doctor's excuses and they were just soooooo polite. They may be tired of me and sis by the time we both get our sick kids back to school. The primary cause of both their illnesses can be traced back to the school and issues that the school refuses to recognize or deal with. And then they want to give us a hard time because our kids aren't at school.
Speaking of sickness, Diane I hope you are keeping your hands washed! Pinkeye spreads like wildfire. Poor Ty needs an antibiotic eyedrop. His mom will probably have to drag him back to the doctor to get it. I'm sure she'll be thrilled.

But if she didn't I wouldn't keep him. Pink eye is a pain in the neck, even worse if you wear contact lenses.
Dr. Bob, the farabloc thing is interesting. Keep us updated.
Margo, whereever did you get the idea that Baptist's are quiet?
You better board those cats if Gib is coming, he might mistake them for BBQ meat.
