I got it! By George, I got it! Thanks Sheila for the tip. Now I can see that you have a temperature variation between 41, 44, and 38°F, somewhat cooler than we do here.

Boy, I do not know why anyone would mess with that Celsius thingy....

Well thank you, Sister Betty! Although I have to confess, I do not know how on earth can you see me? Do you have a new space age technology to spy me out from your computer room to mine? On the other hand, even though we do not have a TV Cam I can see you (your charming picture under your displayed name and the US flag).... but how can you see me?
laugh.gif
You must have super-eyes! But just the same, it is good to see you too! Thanks for noticing me without my picture.

Barnabas, my Brother,

Blessings to you! Actually, for a nominal fee, if one knows a persons address, there are sites out on the internet that can zoom in to your living room window (if the shades are not drawn) from outer space.

A hacker can get your home address from your IP address. So it is not beyond imagination to do so.

Some sites will not charge you to get a good topographical picture of your neighborhood. We did this for my mother's neighborhood and were able to get a picture of her old Pontiac LeMans sitting in front of her house a couple years ago. And you could tell it was a LeMans.

In Christ,
Ron

Hey, Bro. Ron, are you trying to scare me? What you are saying then is that Sister Thankful can actually look me in the face from outer-space?
So that's why she said: "I'll never tell."

LoL, Brother Barnabas!

Possible, depends on if Brother Ed will let her spend the extra money to peek through yer windows. lol

We'll have to have a long talk with Brother Ed. lol

Thankful

Dear Brother Barnabas:

Don't let Ron scare you on my account! You have known me long enough to know that I am teasing you.

Cameras, celcious temps, and pencil-thin mustaches. Busy in thr CGCH today!
That's good to see!
Bro Curtis, glad you're feeling better.

Sue and Gina, Oklahoma would be ever so grateful if you would send some precipitation their way. Just saw where the fires have really flared up again the last couple days.
We're about to get some stormy weather here. Just as long as there are no tornadoes close by, I'll be OK.

Oh, you got me there Bro. Ron! I am sure Bro. Ed would not approve of spending all that money for an outer space camera.

Oh, yes, I do know that you are only teasing Sister Betty. And hope you know that I was only reciprocating.

No, Lady Sue, I don't want to scare people. Especially now when I was coming out of a three week bout with a bad cold. Even I get scared of the picture when I looked into the mirror.

Well, here is a picture of Lenke and I as we attended last month's wedding of our grand niece. Lenke was nursing her right eye, after a successful cataract surgery.

Oh my goodness Bro. Curtis, not you too.
By the way, it is good to have you back wholly cured. I am trying to reach that 100% feeling myself, so I know what you must have gone through. Incidentally, one day as I was trying to shave even my mustache made an error and cut too much off, so I had to re-grow it. On the picture, linked above, you will see a thicker mustache trying to re-grow....

Whew! It's dark already! That went fast.

The psychology class...wow. I thought a lot of stuff people said about it was just a joke, but it's not. They really do teach you that "and how does that make you feel" stuff and expect you to come up with psychologically and politically and totally non-biased against anything at all, even bias, correct responses to the simplest of statements others can make. I'm thinking I'm not gonna be her favorite student.

It was a pretty decent day. The computer shop managed to save a couple things. There are a few photos I'd forgotten about, and it really made me smile to see them. There was also a letter in there addressed to Barnabas. He must have asked me how I came to believe in God, I think it was a question he asked when people were asking me about having been an atheist before, and I responded with the story of how my oldest daughter's birth really turned my heart towards knowing what love was, and what possibilities were. That was kinda neat to read again, especially with just having had her birthday yesterday.

I also found a big long discussion with a mormon. It must have been on five dates, because it's contained in five files, but it made me go "WOW", because we were back and forth and back and forth and I don't remember it, and it was pretty in depth.

There's stuff on there...writings and poetry, but I don't remember writing half of it. I didn't sign any of it. I'm ASSUMING I wrote them all because I write so much and it's not in my nature to save stories or poems into my documents that aren't my own, but I don't recognize them and would hate to claim them. The reality is that at the most, only one or two would be other people's work out of all of it if any, but that's not something to be wrong about. It makes me somewhat sad, because my whole intention and reason for spending the money to get them out of a highly corrupted hard drive was to be able to use them. I am thankful that I got a few things though! Life goes on.

Good evening folks,

I am going to be without Brent for three days. My oldest daughter, Laura, is picking him up in the morning and taking him home to Indiana with her so he can play with his cousins, Seth, Noah, and Levi. He will be back early Tuesday morning.

It looks like it will be a quiet week-end. I'm up for that, but I will miss him all the same. He always has a good time up there, though, and the boys all love to get together.

We're getting ready to watch MONK, eat popcorn, and drink hot cocoa. Then it will be bedtime.

Pleasant dreams all!

I'm off for the night too. My day has caught up with me and I'm falling asleep at the computer. This is a comfortable chair but not quite comfy enough to sleep in.

See ya'll in the morning!

Well it's kinda late...but here I Is!! Been on the run all day again, & doing some more research.
My dear sweet lovable adorable Agatha almost broke my rib again today!!! With a truck seat of all things. Actually it just "felt" like it broke but apparently I ain't as healed as I thought. It doubled me over it hurt so good. But I got her something nice for tomorrow anyway, then she would'nt even wait to see what it was!
She loves dolls, the ceramic type. I found one in a little wooden storage case that opens up for display. The doll on one side & the other side like a sheafrobe(spell?) with a little dress on a hangar & one drawer with an extra hangar & a couple of small ribbons. Course she loved it!
The Lord is already blessing our business venture. Made some positive contacts today in Asheboro.Have to print up some business cards & do a Letter of Introduction for a couple of places, but it's a start!! Found a deal on a fax macine too at Staples, if it's still on next week.
BH had both of us worried silly last night, she just would not act right. I put her a new box & clean cotton in & she wouldn"t mess with it. She just lay on top of the box looking all pitiful. She came in here with me & slept in my lap for awhile, & then Agee took her to bed with her for awhile. I put her back in her cage about 2am & she finally curled up in some of the cotton about 5.
When I got up at 10am she was back to normal it seemed, she was busy stuffin' the cotton in her box. But she's been asleep in her box since it got dark, about 5:30 here. Thats the only drawback to having her, if she was to get sick there's not a vet around here that would look at her. I've checked & told them if they couldn't at least look at her if she needed it then they they wouldn't be seeing our dog either. Didn't matter though.
But so far we've been blessed that she's stayed pretty healthy...I guess?
Sorry, guess I've rambled enough, & didn't even bring any snacks. I'll do better tomorrow!!

Brother Barnabas,

Blessings to ya Brother! Will keep Lenke in prayers that her eye continues to heal, and you that your health will continue to strengthen.

Sister Betty,

Like Brother Barnabas, I was only having fun. We know you would never be like that. God's people are to have a merry heart, and sometimes I get carried away. Just ask God to give me a spiritual thwap from time to time and I will be fine
Blessings to you and Brother Ed.

I pray for all my friends on the BB daily, and also those who have chosen to be enemies with me. I know none of you have picked the latter.

Ron

Good evening, everyone!

Brother Barnabas, I know you were kidding me, but I'm like Sue and Bro. Curtis, just where is your picture? Thank you for sharing the one of you and your lovely wife.

Gina, I need to go back and read your post again. You totally lost me on stories that might or might not be yours. Now I'm old enough to forget what I write, but not you.

Preacher, Sounds like Agatha really liked her gift. Have a great anniversary. You are two years ahead of us.

Good Night, All
