I set up the fish aquarium Fri with fresh (bottled) water and a few drops of Right Start, or is it Start Right? Anyway, we got 3 new gold fishies Saturday night and they seem more lively than the first 2 did. Only feeding once a day too, and the water is still clear!

I'm going to look for a bread pudding recipe that is for two-to-four servings.

Bread pudding will REALLY cloud the water, Gayla.

I am going to bed. We have a lot of celebrating to do the next two days for Brent's birthday and I was up every hour, on the hour, last night.

I baked Brent's cake today. Two layers no less! It looks scrumptious, but what a combination he wanted! Lemon cake with chocolate frosting and green mint ice cream with chocolate chips in it...

He has decided he wants fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob for his birthday supper. I kind of figured that. That's what he 'orders' every birthday. I think he could live on chicken (but then so could I)!

Well...late again. Been runnin' like crazy all day & tomorrow not any easier.Trying to gather some info on a business me & Agg are looking at starting.

Blessed Morning everyone:

It's a cool 45 here today, though it really doesn't feel that bad. I love the foothills of Tennessee and the beauty in the morning, and even in the evening for that matter!

It rained some last evening, and we are supposed to be receiving a lot of rain today from what the weather email I just received said. I hope the storms they are calling for aren't powerful enough to knock out the power.

My temp is down from over 101 to 99.8 . There must have been a bug going around. The doctor said that I may still be having trouble from the transfusions back in October of 2004. He told me I have to remember that most of the blood I have in me is someone else's,actually, several other people's, and that the body can take up to three years to totally adjust to transfused blood and rebuilding immunity. I had never heard that before. I guess we learn something new every day!

Has anyone seen Gwynneth posting lately?

I'll have to blame the cake part on Pastor Bob's son. He was here for his 21st birthday and that is what he requested me to bake. Of course, Brent, looking up to him, has now decided that it is his favorite too!

Good morning.

I'm off into the wild blue yonder in about fifteen minutes. The girls are up and dressed, and now eating breakfast. All I have left to do is throw a couple books in my backpack! I don't think I have class until 11, so I'll probably come home and clean the kitchen, then do some homework.

We've decided on a tea party theme for the girls birthday party in February. One of the craftier type ladies is helping me, as all that is just not my thing. The girls and women come all dolled up, the boys and men come dressed as princes and knights and we'll all be very proper.
I'm not sure if I like that stuff being put in my kids heads.

The kids are all for it, especially the oldest, and we're talking about a kid who beheaded a collectable Barbie doll and walked around with it's head for a month making various puns about how it happened and such. (she got a little bit a head of herself, she completely lost her mind, she has separational anxiety, she's not attached, in church the pastor found she was beheaded for her beliefs, etc.., however she did have her head glued on again this month as everything seems to be coming together for her)

Well, I need coffee so we're off early today!

Went into work this morning & they sent me right back home. I really hope it don't take too long for me & Agee to get this business going. Someone told me at work to put it in her name & we could get govt. help...anyone know anything about that??? I don't want to "cheat".. but if we can get a break we sure can use it. It's a cleaning business we're wanting to start, mainly so we can work together...like we were doing when we met.
Rekon it would do anygood to start a seperate post on this? I'm really gonna have to learn as I go on this, & it seems more important to her...& I'll DO whatever I can to please her!!!
It's been great here weather wise, 45 at night,...60's in the day...supposed to stay that way all week. BH has been pitchin' a fit to go outside,..I just haven't been in long enough to take her.

Preacher, I would start a separate thread on 'starting a business'. I think you would get more response because not everyone checks the Coffee House.

Well, we had cake and ice cream today. The combination wasn't so hot, but Brent liked it so I guess that's all that matters...

He got an electronic dart board and a remote-control car from his mother. He has been busy playing with them all day.

Off to fix supper. I'm hungry!

Brent's birthday isn't until tomorrow, but we had cake and ice cream today so his mother could have some. No, I'm not a fancy cake-maker, but they still taste good.

Females starting businesses have much more help available to them than you would. If she's in a racial minority, there's even more. Being married to you, well, maybe they won't hold it against her.

The cake looks good Sue! That's so sweet that you make them yourself. I tried it a couple times. I mixed the icing wrong on one and it was some pukey shade of mauve. LOL

It's 45 here this morning with light winds out of the SSW. It's been raining off and on all night, but the sky is starting to clear up.

Sue, that cake looks great and Brent looks like he's a very happy young fellow!

I called my sister Becky yesterday to see how things were going and found that she was loading a truck and moving yesterday afternoon to Augusta. The Lord closed all the doors for her to stay in Waycross. I was so glad that HE opened the doors for her to move to Augusta. She'll have a lot of support from family there. I've got two other sisters and their families there.

Gina, tea parties aren't a thing that men get into (at least not most of them), but I used to go to some with my nieces and we used to play tea party. My foster daughters would do that too.

Ya'll be good, be kind and be careful.

Well, we're off to Springfield soon, so we can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Denny's (where they used to give a FREE birthday breakfast to the 'birthday person'), and then we're off to Toys"R"Us.

Brent has a birthday certificate to present at the door of Toys"R"Us. I have no idea what will happen after that...

We should be home sometime early this afternoon.
