Morning all!
A warmer 49 here this morning. We're supposed to get to 70+ today! Wooohooo!
Vivian came home early yesterday. Seems like they've not had a whole lot of work lately. She's sort of worried that layoffs may be coming soon. There has been talk of some layoffs. This would be the temps first and then the Dell employees second. I'm hoping that it won't come to layoffs. Ever since they opened the plant in NC there has been a shortage of work. But, God is in control.
I wanted a doughnut hole, too, but, better watch my ever expanding waistline!

Ron: Thanks for the never ending supply of donuts. I don't seem to have much time to bake right now...
We are redoing the family room and I gave the couch away on FreeCycle. We set it on the front sidewalk and it is still there! Oh well, we have no-shows sometimes. Hubby just called from work and said he had someone out there that needed it, so if it's still here when he gets off work, he will deliver it to them.
I went to a used furniture store yesterday and bought a china hutch. I've always wanted one and never had one. I'm SO excited! I traded in our old entertainment center and got it pretty cheap. I also traded in our old coffee table (way too big) and got a smaller one.
He was going to charge me for delivery and I told him he couldn't do that because he was coming to my house anyway to pick up the coffee table and entertainment center so he might as well bring my stuff with him. He said, "All right, you win."
I also bought 2 matching, wing-backed recliners to replace the couch we gave away. I talked him down $30.00 on those too. All in all, it was a pretty good day!
Time for breakfast, then school work, then mopping and waxing dining room floor, pressing drapes and rehanging them (took down and washed them) yesterday, and of course, the never ending dusting...

Good almost afternoon everyone!
Today was exchange day(I exchanged T's paycheck for the power bill, house payment, etc). Got that done, went to the dentist.
I now have nice shiny clean teeth with no cavities. Celebrated by bring home Arby's. Now I'm going to do a 2 hour run through on the house and see if I can get it clean enough that I can sew tomorrow. Then I have to take T's mom to an eye appointment in B'ham. Won't see ya'll till I get back, so have a good day while I'm gone!
