Sue, the sewer won't be important at all if you get so sick from the tooth it puts you out of commission!
Do you have cloves? They help with pain. You can get them for a buck a bag if you go to the mexican section of the grocery store, as opposed to spending a minimum of five on them in the spice aisle. They usually sell them in plastic bags...garlic power, dried peppers, cinnamon sticks, etc., all for around a dollar a bag. They help somewhat.
I personally use liquid colloidal silver (rinse my mouth out with it) to help with infection. It's less costly than tea tree oil (although the oil is supposably more effective) and the taste is tolerable. I also try to keep it around to rinse off scrapes and minor cuts.
But best...get it out! Go to a free/reduced cost dental clinic if you have to. I've done that before. Of course, It was embarassing, but I was in pain! (parked around the corner and kinda ambled in, hoping nobody saw me) They took pity on me and worked me in. I sat there for three hours waiting to be worked in, but they took me. (maybe it helped that I was crying in pain?)
Ahhh...the adventures of having no extra cash. I've always thought it must be pretty boring to be rich. You just pay for stuff and leave. That's easy. When you're poor, everything is an adventure and a lesson in creativity.
