Like my wingback so much It's rite here in front of the computer!! BH likes it too, it gives her a higher view,...& a good downhill start to the keyboard!
Oh, MC, since ya live so close....well my chair's seen better days....could use a face lift, or I guess a frame lift...nothing slick though, don't want BH falling off!!

I broke down and bought some wheat-free products. It's been way over a year since I had some things like cookies, pasta, pancakes.

I fixed a pancake mix this morning. It was good. Texture was a bit different since the main ingredient was rice flour, but it sure was yummy!

Oooh! I hope I didn't start a bad thing! I could spend a fortune at the Fabric Club! And probably will since I'm mad at Walmart and Hancock's selection has gone way done lately.

Speaking of Walmart, have the ones in your area started converting your checks into electronic debits? Came back from vacation to that little surprise. I do not like having my checks converted! (no security against mistakes) The girl had it converted before I knew what she was doing. No warning whatsoever, just "sign here".

My girls don't think so cause I'm using forced labor in my spring cleaning efforts today. Chris will do his share when he gets back from sword training. I'm a meanie!

Wal-Mart hasn't done that yet in our area, but I'm sure they will when their Super Center is built.

However, all of the gas stations have been doing that around here for a few years...

I don't like it either, but what are we going to do? Back to cash (with no records)?

My Agee said she was gonna take the rest of the spaggetti sauce tonite & make a pizza with it....BH is already pacin' her cage waitin'!!
Went & got the A/C units but now I gotta clean out a place behind the building to put'em. If I didn't enjoy destroyin things so much this would be like work!! Hoping to pick up some puters from freecycle too!!

Well I don't mind using my Visa check card. And I would have if she'd of told me they were converting the checks. Want to know something funny. This is supposed to make it faster for Walmart to get their money, right? Well, I made the purchase Saturday evening and it took till THURSDAY for it to come through my bank account! Alway before my checks have cleared on Tuesday and the same with the check card.

We always use a card at the gas pump. Keep us from spending extra money on junk food.

I use my Mastercard for everything; never carry cash, except pocket change. We do, however, make sure we pay our Mastercard off before any interest can be added. It is the interest that can kill you.

I will have to ask wife about converting cheques.....I haven't heard of it up here.

We just use a debit card, easier than writing a check, quicker too! Plus it lets ya know if there ain't enough money in the account so it don't bounce!!!
Was at the video store rentin some movies & a lady walked up & asked me if I wanted another A/C to go with the 5 in the truck....so now I gotta empty the truck & go get another one!! Hey...I'll take ALL His blessings!!

Well I know i don't normally drop in much around the coffee house, but I thought I would come in for a few mins and wish everyone a Happy Father's day.

My Father's day is going to be unique as my inlaws are taking our 4 girls to Indiana for a few days. So my wife and i will have a few days to ourselves, and I am not sure if I am looking forward to that or not.

Today I got to watch my oldest compete in a swim meet and she continues to get better each week. This week she really did well in the backstroke, she even finished ahead of one of the other girls in her heat.

I have also had the chance the last couple days to have some good talks with my girls. They are so precious.

Mornin All,
Just stopping by fore' I head to bed. Agees pizza was goooooood, so good it's still with me!BH didn't complain either, & I think she's finally likin where Agee moved her to. Now I can open the door on her cage & she can just wander out on the couch, & she's still by a window. Saw a squirrel today stealing pecans from a bucket we have outside. Agee went out & told him those were for BH & he was in the apple tree not 5 feet away sittin & listening like he was soakin in every word. Gotta get a camera!!

Or hissin'...& barin its claws....or...to represent my BH.....acting like it aint payin attention...& eatin ya up!!!! It is absolutly amazin' what a little creature that I could wring out in one hand can do in damage either knowing you will let HER get away with it....or she just don't care!!! BH???? I really think she knows just how far I'll let HER go!

Don't tell Agee....But the squirrel gets away with a lot more than her!!!!

I was thinking about that the other night, how big we can think we are beside Him, get mad and all ready to yell at Him for something trivial and sometimes I wonder if he thinks stuff like "count to ten before unleashing that killer snail on her big toe..."

Good morning all,

I had a pretty good night (for a change) and have a doctor's appt. this morning. I will find out if it is yea or nay on the tests starting tomorrow. I sure hope it's yea because I want to get the tests over with and get on with my life...

Brent went to church camp yesterday afternoon and won't be back until Friday evening. It sure is quiet in this house! I thought I would enjoy it more than I am, but I miss him already!!!

But yes, it IS amazing how much junk He puts up with from us. I mean if even our kids treated us like we do Him sometimes....mabey that why I was never given any!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Sue, I hate it when my kids are gone too! I'm missing two of mine this morning. They'll be back later this morning. You better believe it's quiet in this house with only Bitsy left and she's still sleeping!

The dogs and guinea pigs are making up for it with their demands for attention. Ava especially thinks I should be paying attention to her instead of working on the swimming pool!

Speaking of, let me go see if the water has drained enough that I can fix a leak around a drain plug on the filter. I'm hoping that'll cure an ongoing problem I've been having losing water through the filter head. But I doubt it. I'm just going to have to give it up and buy a new filter head and soon! (But not till payday)

I'm with preacher, why yell at God when you can pout?

No really, right at this moment I'm too grateful for my blessings to do much of either. The kids are stable, we got to take a nice vacation, T's car didn't cost an arm and a leg to have fixed (and the next bit of work it needs won't either) and if my only problem is this silly pool leak, then I don't have problems! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

Please pray that my heart tests are not postponed again so I can start them tomorrow and get them over with.
