Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called for "overwhelming violence of action" against those who "deserve no mercy" during a monthly Christian service held at the Pentagon on March 25, a day after he announced major changes to the military's chaplaincy corps.

Speaking to military and civilian employees at the livestreamed service, Hegseth quoted Scripture and read a prayer he said was first offered by a military chaplain during a past U.S. operation. The prayer asked God to "let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation."

"Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy," Hegseth said. He also called on God to "break the teeth of the ungodly."

Have you ever heard of this new denomination?

Some folks are concered about t his group as Sec of Defense Pete Hegseth is drawing attention after attending a church service affiliated
with Pastor Doug Wilson, a self-described Christian nationalist whom Hegseth reportedly admires.

This could be the reason Hegseth does not want females in combat roles
I had not heard of this before. I note that the denomination (?) has not yet found its way to Britain.
My church would not join a denomination, and would not have close fellowship with churches that follow the 'Federal Vision,' nor with those that practise paedocommunion, which must entail a belief in presumptive regeneration.

He’s getting all imprecatory, I see!

A lot of Doug Wilson’s stuff is back to the “Manifest Destiny” of the early US. It goes right along with Post Millennialism (which I think is what ushered Wilson right on in to Christian Nationalism), in that Christians are responsible for ushering in the kingdom by dominating the political system and controlling through law.

Even when we were a “Christian nation” how many people just followed moral norms versus actually followed Christ as Lord?

If you get too caught up with the Kingdoms of this world, how will you follow the Kingdom of God? His Kingdom is not of this world, or else His followers would fight!
