The Greek translated wine is not used regarding the remembrance anywhere in the New Testament.

Since communion symbolizes the Jesus body, given for us, and his blood shed for remission of our sins, I am not offended by the use of a variety of elements to symbolize communion.

When I went on a week long canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northeast Minnesota, our group of Christians celebrated communion using orange kool-aid and pieces of granola. In such a serene and pristine environment, surrounded by nature, I cherish that time of communion with God and my Christian brothers and sisters.

A pastor friend of mine who was a missionary in the South Pacific used pinapple juice for communion -
as there was no grape juice available.

Passover was taken with wine , not grape juice , Christ fulfilled the law he did not break it ! no leaven for me in the bread or the cup. Wine is the true type of the Blood of Christ from the Old to the New . JOHN 2:3-4 " And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.'' 4vs " Jesus saith unto her her , Woman what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.'' Christ answered to wine , the next time he called her Woman he was on the cross John 19:26'' ..........Woman behold thy son !" His hour had come and he fulfilled Genesis 49:11
“Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:” Elder Slone
