You forgot the next part to Romans 12:1,2. You didn't even mention the last part of verse two. God has called us to more than just live. We are to be transformed. You forgot to mention what else He has called us to. In Mt. 28:19,20 commanded His disciples to make disciples. So how many disciples are you making currently?Originally posted by foxrev:
You both have no clue about the Holiness of God by which He has called us to live: Romans 12:1&2 make very clear that we are to present our lives DEAD TO SELF, and NOT conformed to this world! I Peter 1 makes very clear that God has called us to live a Holy life. God goes on to say that we are strangers and pilgrims in this world.
Who's living for Jesus Christ becasue of your life? How many of those are making disciples?
That's what the Christian life is really all about. It's all about Jesus, not the stop signs on the road and what everyone else does. It's about the task Jesus has called each person to--making disciples.
