Confirmation Bias and Bible Study

On and on this poster implies his interpretation reflects what God's word says, and my alternate interpretation changes the words.

LOL ROTF

Your “alternate interpretation” literally changes the words to the 1 Corinthians passage. I am not “implying” your alternate interpretation changes the words. I am stating it plainly and anyone with an IQ above room temp can easily see that is true.

If you don’t hate God’s Word, why do you start so many threads attempting to rewrite God’s Word to fit your man made philosophy?

Yeah, you hate God’s Word because God’s Word destroys your man made philosophy.

Peace to you

Pauk talked of 3 classes of persons, as those who were lost and natural men, unsaved who could not receive the scriptures unaided by the Holy Spirit, saved who were still acting as if in the s, baby Christians, and the matured spiritual Christians
Pure Fiction, Paul spoke to newly born anew Christians using the same "spiritual milk" he used when speaking to lost natural people.

Just how can spiritually dead in their sins sinners suddenly by act of will get spiritually alive then?
Pay no attention to his made up claims. No one said spiritually dead people by their act of will result in their being spiritually alive.
All these deniers of truth do is hid one false claim with other false claims.

God may choose to credit a person's faith as righteousness. A person can believe till the cows come home, that will not result in being chosen for salvation and transferred into Christ's spiritual body (baptized into Christ). God decides who He will save, people do not earn it by faith, as faith is according to grace.

Note this post tries to change the subject to my behavior, rather than address the topic. This is all these deniers of God's word know how to do.

Those that suffer from confirmation bias, find fault in others rather than consider their own.

If we base our understanding of a verse out of its context, and then need to nullify other verses, we should realize we may have engaged in Confirmation bias. Ask yourselves, how many verses or passages teach that unsaved people can be led to spiritual truth through direct or indirect exposure to God's word.

Gal 3:24
Therefore the Law has become our guardian to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

Or "Therefore the Law has become our tutor to Christ, so we may be justified based on faith."

In this verse "the Law" refers to the entire Old Testament.

2Ti 3:15
and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus

Romans 10:14–15

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
