Haha...OR, since you are in SC, I understand. There is something in the water down there. You guys scream "You Lie", go hiking the Appalachian Trail in a bedroom in Argentina, and are all confused. It will be okay. Really.

(Boy, am I glad to be north of that state line!) :wavey:

So am I MP. You have the typical arrogant NC attitude toward your betters. You apparently learned quickly that NC is the valley of humility:saint: between two mountains of conceit! However, you brought your penchant for gross exaggeration with you from mile high which fits the NC psyche.:BangHead: Perhaps it is the North in their name that gives them an attitude similar to the D.. Yankees.

In case you don't know the difference between a Yankee and a D... Yankee: a D.. Yankee moves South and stays; a Yankee goes back.

Well, there is only one reason I would venture to that barren land of waste and wilderness known as the Palmetto State (any relation to those big Palmetto Bug Roaches?)...and that is to save a few cents on gasoline. You know of course, that the wind in Charlotte blows from North to South because South Carolina sucks.

Chuckie Johnson has not been a conservative for a long time. I was kicked off his site over two years ago, and it is a badge of honor.

He hates Christians, he will not allow any dissent on his site, he is nothing but the leader of his own little personality cult.

And his guitar playing is awful.

uh huh.

Good riddance.

Since he hates Christians, he'll be welcomed with open arms by the left, as illustrated by MP's excitement that he has finally outed himself.

A well-known conservative blogger has parted ways with the nutty right. From HERE:
1. Support for fascists, both in America (see: Pat Buchanan, Robert Stacy McCain, etc.) and in Europe (see: Vlaams Belang, BNP, SIOE, Pat Buchanan, etc.)

2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)

3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)

4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)

5. Support for homophobic bigotry (see: Sarah Palin, Dobson, the entire religious right, etc.)

6. Support for anti-government lunacy (see: tea parties, militias, Fox News, Glenn Beck, etc.)

7. Support for conspiracy theories and hate speech (see: Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Birthers, creationists, climate deniers, etc.)

8. A right-wing blogosphere that is almost universally dominated by raging hate speech (see: Hot Air, Free Republic, Ace of Spades, etc.)

9. Anti-Islamic bigotry that goes far beyond simply criticizing radical Islam, into support for fascism, violence, and genocide (see: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, etc.)

10. Hatred for President Obama that goes far beyond simply criticizing his policies, into racism, hate speech, and bizarre conspiracy theories (see: witch doctor pictures, tea parties, Birthers, Michelle Malkin, Fox News, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and every other right wing source)

And much, much more. The American right wing has gone off the rails, into the bushes, and off the cliff.
I won’t be going over the cliff with them.
This blogger makes use of inflammatory perjoratives and has nothing to say in commentary as to his position for generalizing in labels? Why? IMO he's juvenile and shallow. I'm surprised that anyone of average or above IQ would take his diatribe seriously. While some of the people he cites as examples might have some statements in the course of their writings or speech which may support his position.... his own unreasonable generalization on most of them, if based on examples he or anyone could produce, in the context of total content from most or all of them.... they are far more balanced and reasonable than he is in exercising his broad brush of hate.

I don't agree with the categories to which he labels and assigns these people as examples. But if that's the best his intelligence will allow in his understanding of those adjectives.... then I'm on the right side.... and IT IS NOT AGREEING WITH HIS. On a link at the top, I'm sent to another page where jews are urged to protest against anti-islamic groups in Europe. Its not the first time that people who are <fill in the blank> in name only are sabatorians or traitors to their own position and attempt to impune others and take as many down with their unbalanced and dishonest position.
To which I can only say.... :applause:
MP, you don't fail to surprise me. I really thought you would have responded differently to such blatant anti-christian charges that he makes as represented by his sample observation.

Haha...OR, since you are in SC, I understand. There is something in the water down there. You guys scream "You Lie", go hiking the Appalachian Trail in a bedroom in Argentina, and are all confused. It will be okay. Really.

Man, I'm concerned for you! The recycled sewage water that is dumped in the Neuse River and used for drinking water through out the great state of NC has probably poisoned your brain. May I suggest a Burkey water filter or equivalent before its too late?

2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)

Examples? Evidence?

3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)

How does the "religious right" "throw women back into the Dark Ages"?

4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)

First of all, creationism isn't "anti-science". Not only is it not "anti-science", it's the word of God. Second, it isn't that we deny climate change. It's that we believe it's natural and cyclical.

Which climate change "experts" are we supposed to believe? The ones who, thirty years ago told us we were all going to die in a terrible new ice age? Or the ones who say that we're all going to drown when the polar ice caps melt because of global warming, in spite of the fact that the Earth's average temperature has been falling for several years? How about the ones who were recently caught cooking the books and hiding some data while manufacturing others? Maybe we should all listen to the idiot, Al Gore, who recently claimed that the Earth is hotter than the Sun.

5. Support for homophobic bigotry (see: Sarah Palin, Dobson, the entire religious right, etc.)

Examples? Evidence?

6. Support for anti-government lunacy (see: tea parties, militias, Fox News, Glenn Beck, etc.)

So he left conservatism because he doesn't like the fact that people are allowed to disagree with our government? Where did he go? Certainly not to the liberals, because they spent the last eight years disagreeing with the government.

What is it about having the right to speak out against an out of control government that you disagree with?

]7. Support for conspiracy theories and hate speech (see: Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Birthers, creationists, climate deniers, etc.)

Do you have any examles or evidence? What does creationism have to do with "conspiracy theories and hate speech"? Specifically, do you have any examples of Glenn Beck being involved with "conspiracy theories and hate speech"?

8. A right-wing blogosphere that is almost universally dominated by raging hate speech (see: Hot Air, Free Republic, Ace of Spades, etc.)

Examples? Evidence?

Anti-Islamic bigotry that goes far beyond simply criticizing radical Islam, into support for fascism, violence, and genocide (see: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, etc.)

Do you have any examples? Do you have any evidence?

Specifically, could you please explain how the tea parties were "racist" and "hate speech" against Obama?

If you have such contempt for the word of God, as you seem to in your attacks on creationism, why in the world are you on a Christian message board?

MP, trying to slam conservative principles via "guilt by association," with absolutely no evidence to boot, is a low blow for you. (there are others on here for which that is their standard procedure)

I expect more from you.

So let me get this straight: If one is conservative, we hate women, blacks, want to kill gays, and are actively trying to set the world on fire?

Gee...and the right wing is nutty?

Come on. You're better than this.

:tear::tear: I was going to tell you that my last post was written "tongue in cheek" sinc yu finle got whur de lac of ar don't fect yore braan.

However, since you haven't lived in sight of the Promised Land long enough to know the difference between a Palmetto Bug and a Roach I repent of my moment of weakness and take it all back. Actuly iffen yu liv in Chrlet yu liv in de secn biges yanke city in soth. Hotlana bein bigest.

Seriously MP since you live that close to the Promised Land and if you change your liberal ways and become a bone-fide red neck like that guy we kicked all the way to the stateside part of Cuba perhaps some of us can get special dispensation for you to cross the line for some other reason than to STEAL OUR GASOLINE.:laugh:

You know of course, that the wind in Charlotte blows from North to South because South Carolina sucks.

MP you never get anything right. I assume you know that hot air rises. So be sure to hold on tight to something when you leave the house. But, given that hot air rises since you moved to Charlotte the region where I live gets breezes all the way from the ocean, flowing north that is.

Sounds like this is about as surprising as Arlen Specter becoming a Democrat - i.e., he already was one in word, thought and deed. Besides, no one has ever heard of this guy. And this is considered news? By posting this obscurity, it appears to be an attempt to try and trample on a group's [supposed] grave. Hate is the word for it.

Come on now rbell; I tried to be nice to MP this morning and found out he didn't know the difference between a Palmetto Bug and a Roach so what can you expect!:tear::tear:
