Well, I think slavery was a worse violation of constitutional rights. Segregation was worse. Women not allowed to vote… yes that’s worse.
The government conducting medical experiments on black Americans without their knowledge… yes that’s worse.
Yeh, constitutional rights are being challenged during this pandemic, but it’s not the worse, at least not yet.

Depends on your point of view. The violations of rights you note were directed against segments of society and egregious enough for them.
The covid mandates are directed against every man woman and child in the country. It's not a matter of what rights are infringed, but how widespread it is that makes it the most egregious.
Of course, you would understate how serious it is. Rights are not just being "challenged", they're being trampled on again and again only a daily basis for months on end.

The virus initially came into NYC from Europe. The southern border has little to do with it. People coming across the border are tested.

If you don’t believe it, just do your google magic and find the stories they show:
1. The virus did in fact come to NY from Europe
2. The immigrants coming across the southern border have been tested and have not contributed to the rise in cases in Texas and elsewhere.
On the second point, I really don’t see how it can be denied. The CDC numbers are 10% infection rate; others are as high as 40%.
Even at the lower estimate, with 1.3 million coming across this year, that’s 130,000 initial cases coming into the country untreated and no way to measure how many others have been exposed, sickened and died because of this massive influx of COVID sick people.
