Corporate Media Links Louisiana Shooter to Tea Party

The Daily Beast and the corporate media are attempting to link the latest shooting to the Tea Party.

The man authorities named responsible for Thursday night’s shooting in a Louisiana movie theater is listed as a member of the Tea Party Nation and has a profile page on the group’s website.

John Russell Houser, described as a 59-year old man and “kind of drifter,” is said to have killed two people at the theater and then committed suicide when police responded to the shooting.

The profile page without activity will be used by the media to demonize the Tea Party and portray its members as gun-wielding psychopaths.

Liberals on Twitter rushed to exploit the Lafayette theater shooting before the bodies were even cold, demanding that all “white men” be stripped of their Second Amendment rights in response to the tragedy.

The Lafayette, Louisiana, Grand Theatre–site of the tragic July 23 attack in which a gunman killed two, wounded at least seven others, then took his own life–is a gun free zone.

The movie theater chain does not even allow law-abiding citizens with concealed carry permits to carry for self-defense.

A 59-year-old man who had been committed to a hospital for psychiatric care was identified by authorities on Friday as the gunman who fatally shot two people in a rampage at a crowded movie theater in central Louisiana before turning the gun on himself as police closed in.

The suspected gunman, John R. Houser, who had a history of mental illness and railed against the U.S. government online, opened fire with a .40 caliber handgun about 20 minutes into the comedy film "Trainwreck," sending panicked theatergoers ducking behind seats and running for the exits. One woman pulled the fire alarm.

The left sharpens its claws for gun control

In the aftermath of the Boston bombings, prominent leftist news outlets like Salon.com insisted that Muslims shouldn’t apologize for the bloodshed. That same courtesy wasn’t extended to whites after the Charleston shooting. According to Salon, white America had to collectively “answer” for the massacre.

Similarly, following the slaying of four Marines last week by a radicalized Muslim, the left was petrified of even entertaining the notion that Islam played a role in the murders.

Within minutes of news breaking about the tragedy in Lafayette, liberals were calling for all white men to be stripped of their Second Amendment rights. The usual suspects – Piers Morgan prime amongst them are already out in full force exploiting the shooting to push gun control.

Never mind the fact that the movie theater in question, just like the Armed Forces recruiting center in Chattanooga, was a gun free zone where responsible people were barred from carrying firearms.

The left’s call for gun control was also strangely absent when at least 14 people were killed after an incredible 82 shootings over the July 4 weekend alone in Chicago.

Since most of those shootings were the work of black crime gangs, and couldn’t be blamed on Tea Party conservatives, we heard nothing but silence from so-called progressives.

And we all know that the gun wielding sociopath/psychopath liberals, trying to secretly force Americans into submission and willing to give up their guns! This is a conspiracy for sure. And Obama and Clinton are behind it!

If a person is "committed to a hospital for psychiatric care" chances are they have been prescribed some form of SSRI drug. There's no word yet about what drugs this shooter was on (that I'm aware of) but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that he was on at least one.

Which seems to be the case in the majority of these types of crimes.

But let's not question whether there is a link between the wide spread use of these drugs and violence/suicide let's just dance the "gun grab boogey" in the blood of the victims to push an anti gun agenda.
