Issue, if the particular redemption excluded a general redemption the the additional words ": and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. . .", would not be needed. There has never been any proof to the contrary, that the particular redemption needs the words, "and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

Ours would be the elect, or the church, or children of God

The rest of the world would be.. well.. the rest of the world (those who are not us)
