Yes. We are fighting laws right now that will enable cases like this to be brought to the court if they pass. Canada just passed C-4. Read it. It enables cases just like this to be prosecuted. An ordinance in West Lafayette Indiana was just defeated that would have enabled cases like this in the United States. They call the laws prohibitions of conversion therapy, but that is a lie. They outlaw everything from just talking to your pastor, a pastor simply reading scriptures on that subject, and believe it or not, a parent trying to raise their own child.
The lukewarm Churches of the World have fallen asleep on their watch. How many of our Churches actively try to help people with unwanted sexual desires and unwanted gender dysphoria? They are few and far between, but most every Church has at least one person in it who needs to hear the message that they too can trust in God as their Lord for a fulfilled life even if they have no desires for the opposite sex.

It’s already here. California has laws against “conversion therapy”, that is teaching people that being in a right relationship with God can “cure” them of same s:x attraction.

It wouldn't fly in my area of America. Angry, armed to the teeth Americans won't cooperate with whatever illegitimate authority was trying to enforce it.
I can see it happening in the more Blue Hivemind areas of my state of NC such as Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, Asheville, Boone etc.

Like here in the UK, the USA has long departed from being guided by the Holy Bible. Both are very much secular countries, which even the majority of churches that are very much Liberal.
Know what you mean. If the big blue cities keep poking at the rural red areas, they gonna get a reaction they not ready for.
Majority of churches are worthless. They shut down because the state told them to. Only open back up when given permission. Pathetic.
