Many folks are hoping as well as predicting that Obama will be a one-term POTUSA. I am no longer sure about this. So give the following your most sober thoughts, because it could become a likely scenario:

I am simply speculating that if Obama continues to overwhelm the financial and social stability of America, this democracy and center of capitalism will eventually fail, and with a complete systemic failure of catastrophic proportions, he will usher in a world order of socialism in this nation and become our Hugo Chavez.

You have a good point, although you're coming at it from the other side of the political spectrum. It's like people who think he's involved in a Muslim conspiracy. Do they think if he said, "I now hand over America to the radical Islamic jihad." that the generals and officials would just stand down and say "okay, the radical Muslims are in charge now". No, he'd just be impeached and it wouldn't work.

This is where it gets humorous...I'd halfway expect a spurious source for this information...much like the UN "health" study that claims Cuba has better healthcare then the US.

Let me get this straight: You have your government take over one of the largest companies in the US. You fire the CEO, simply because you can. And, without regard for legal precedent or the US Constitution, you require the general public to purchase a private item--under penalty of law if they refuse--to be enforced by our tax folks (after claiming "it's not a tax.")

Not only is Obama a socialist, but he's a socialist that's a liar. That, my friend, is richly documented.

The only way I don't win this argument outright is if you counter with the assertion that Obama is a Marxist or a Fascist (the latter may very well be true).

Having said that...the American people are awake. If they vote out Obama, he'll go. He's pretty hardheaded IMO, but even he's not that stupid. The only two people in the administration so monumentally stupid and contemptuous of the American people--so much so that they'd try this stunt--are Eric Holder (that dude scares me to death...he's evil), and Rahm Emmanuel (and I think his issues are more self-serving than ideological).

Nope. He's a corporatist and a sell-out. What I think you don't get is I wish he was a socialist. For all the good that healthcare reform did, it's a huge gift to the big insurance companies. They're going to get millions of new customers and make out like a bandit over this. There is no other industrialized country that allows for for-profit basic health insurance. The Obama administration has given billions to big business. A real socialist like Bernie Sanders wouldn't do that. You should listen to Sen. Sanders criticize Obama to get a real socialist perspective on Obama.

This is as silly, far fetched and impossible an idea as the one that was floated a few years ago that Bush would declare a national security emergency to nullify or postpone the election of 2008.

You also gotta start with a political structure which allows one man like Hitler to rise to power in the first place. We don't. Not to mention the absence of any war debt, or rampant inflation, or a military willing to play along with a grab for power. Not to mention the absence of a minority which can be used as the "internal enemy" which the majority of the population will tacitly agree with or rally around.

Regardless of what one might think about Obama's intentions, there is no evidence to suggest the conditions are right, or could be right within our generation, for such a takeover to occur. We have our faults as Americans, but an attitude which would allow one person to gain authoritarian power is not one of them.
