Covid and the MARK OF THE BEAST

Not very old.
Apparently Satan had dominion here when he issued his I Wills and that resulted in some form of judgement causing the earth to be in a state of chaos under water, most likely a worldwide flood. However, that period of time need not be very long and probably was not. But it was not a vegetable garden during Satan s day it was a mineral garden. I’ll post a new thread on the 6 abodes of Satan and see if it drums up any conversation.

Death did not exist prior to Adam and Eve

I have never read Matthew Henry from cover to cover. However, I often use him for a reference. He was a Puritan I think. Most systematic theologies lean old earth or don't mention young earth creation. Three years ago I was blessed to make a brief visit to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in Kentucky, the evangelistic outreach of Australian Ken Ham, founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis.
Nice. I checked out a pretty nice creation museum in Texas, Glenrose. Been wanting to take the kids to the Ark.

How did this become an ad for someone's personal accomplishemts?

We have built everything around a supposed 7 year treaty that is based on ONE VERSE that has been understood differently throughout the majority of 2000 years of Christian scholarship. No one else finds that odd?

3.5 years? Mentioned 8 times in 2 seperate books.
7 years? Mentioned once and most commentaries understand the passage to be about Messiah regarding the 7 year covenant with "many" (Gentiles not just Jews anymore).

But at least everyone will sit around on their hands expecting some magical 3.5 years of niceness to be able to figure everything out. doesn't exactly create a sense of urgency leaning on that understanding- which looks to be a house of cards.

I was reading a statement by Ken Ham this morning that was talking about how people think that reason and government can solve their problems. He listed three major ancient empires that fell because they relied on human reason--Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Is that what you mean by house of cards?

I am saying the idea of a 7 year tribulation that starts with a nice comfy 3.5 year relaxation period is NOT firmly established at all. Yet modern prophecy teachers act as if this is some SURE THING. It is far from and probably altogether wrong.

The entire tribulation period could be and probably is only 3.5 years.
