Don't worry we're Christians.
Nothing like this will ever happen to us.
God is our protector from the authorities.
Just censor it so you don't have to know.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Yep, surrender and trust the Almighty One. We must not fear but, instead we must trust. Everything is happening for a reason.

We're they kicked off for eating kosher food or for removing their masks to eat outside of the designated mealtimes?

I have not flown since the pandemic. What's the deal with designated mealtimes?

Also, since Delta serves kosher meals, why would they kick off the girls for eating kosher? Are people still allowed to bring their own food on airplanes?

Why were the girls not informed of the policy and given the chance to comply? Maybe they were unaware of designated meal times.

A rabbi over a specific group or over a specific sect of Judaism?
A specific group. In this case, products had to be bought from a specific butcher in order for him to consider them kosher. Woe to the student whose parents didn't buy his/her lunch meat from this person. They'd get their lunch tossed. I can see these girls in the same kind of situation where their rabbi did trust Delta's\KLM's certifiers.

I've come across cases where if a given rabbi hasn't inspected a food product it isn't kosher even if other rabbis have passed it.
True... kosher is a matter of interpretation. For instance utensils &plates need to be kosher... also prayed over by a rabbi. Trumps daughter, even after Jewish conversion is not considered kosher to most of the Rabbis in Israel... she is still a shiksa to them.
