LOL! Well you never know. He's in the minority in the Church today. John Piper, Tim Keller and all the modern stars reject the book of Genesis in this regard. I'll check Mr. Wommack out.

Tell me about it. But the truth is, only a handful of seminaries in the US teach Genesis as it plainly reads. The vast majority teach compromised versions. That's why I'm always wary of pastors that have gone to seminary.

I can't get your link to work, but I did find this.

Good on him if he holds to biblical creationism, but it appears he's into word of faith doctrine, which sends up some red flags. If that's not the case, let me know. I'm listening to some clips now.

A correct view of Creation is very big, but discernment on hyper charisma is also important for me.

I've listened to a little more, and I'm more disturbed. Sounds like classic Word Of Faith theology. Mr. Wommack actually believes we have the same power that Christ had on earth. From what I can see, Wommack may actually be a false teacher. I hope not, but this is really bad teaching. I'd urge you to take a closer look.

So yes, I believe in a "young earth."
Around 6000 years old.
God told this in his Word, so this is what I believe.

If you and others look "outside of the Word."
The gravitation becomes a litre weaker year by year and if you count backwards with the same phase, human life wouldn't been possible
10 000 years ago.

Also outside every major river there is just as much sediment eroded as it would would be since the flood of Noah.

I'll take your word for it, he's a young earth creationist. But listening the the heresy pointed out in the other video, I don't see the point in investing time in him. I'm be curious if you also subscribe to the things pointed out in that video.

I know who Andrew is.
He's one of my brothers in Christ!
I don't like people who just speak bad things over family members in Christ, who has the same belief as him, me and everyone else in the Word of Faith community.

I have listened to him. I even provided the video. I'm actually asking you to listen to him in light of Biblical teaching.

And I've done my due diligence in looking into word of faith teaching. It's dangerous heresy. There are many good materials on it. Check out Christianity in Crisis by Hanegraaff. Very eye opening.

And I'm not sure this is a brother in Christ, that's the point. And if he is, he shouldn't be teaching. The clips I heard were disturbing at best. What I'm asking you to do is be openminded about this. Do you really agree with the statements he's making in the clip I provided?

What I'm getting at is what kind of scientists? What I've found to be true is that the forerunners of the debate are generally unqualified at all, or qualified in the wrong fields of study to debate creation versus evolution.

I myself am a staunch believer in a literal six day creation, but I get so angry hearing Christians use callable logic to try to prove it. Many people arguing for creation are doing more harm than good, by making us look like idiots.
