Come on Arbo....be a Viking & put on your horns! If that fails, go get some mead:smilewinkgrin:
I am not sure what will happen. I made arrangements for my body to be donated to medical science. They can do what they want, it makes no difference to me.

How did you go about making arrangements? What are the mechanics of getting this done? Who needs to know this in advance?
You know, I hadn't thought of that option, but it really is a great idea.

You've stirred my interest on this.
I'm thinking of donating my body to comedy. :smilewinkgrin:To donate your body, I would say contact a medical university.
Another option is the Anthropological Research Facility.
This is legal, but dont read this if you have an extremely weak tummy.

Burn him like the heathen kings of old eh? I think I heard that in a movie once.
Cremation or Burial. Which Will You Choose?
I'll be on display at the Comedic Ranch at North Kramdon (CRANK).Thats good...when will you be opened?
In a Japanese funeral the body is displayed, then after the funeral we all go down to the crematorium, where we wait for the body to be cremated. After that we have a ceremony where the relatives use special chopsticks to pick out the bones and put them in the urn. :saint:In Canada, when you donate your body to medical needs, the remains are returned to the family after about 3 years. You can still have a headstone at a local cemetary.
Other than local customs, there is nothing in scripture one way or the other. Keep in mind, the early thinking in the NT was that Jesus was returning in AD 70. Even the disciples who walked with Jesus were astonished when He died and rose again,,,,remember Thomas!
Cremation lacks nothing in the funeral service except the viewing of the corpse....."Oh, how nice he looks!!!!"
If people can't see me in life, I don't want them to view me in death.
Cheers,
Jim
