Should children be forced to do time with their criminal parents ?

If no....
Should parents be punished with prison time at all for any crimes ?

Because you know, breaking up families and all.

Crime and Punishment Dostoevsky?

To answer the question... For aliens coming to America illegally - if you don't want to lose your children DON'T COME TO AMERICA ILLEGALLY WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR CHILDREN... DUH!

As the conservative talking heads take note - It happens every day to American fathers/mothers who are incarcerated, they very often lose their children to the CPS. Commit a crime with no place for the children to go - hello CPS! American or alien.

Be responsible and DON'T DO THE CRIME.

BTW The kids will probably be better off with CPS and foster homes.

Are you suggesting he faked his own death? Or are you just spouting vacuous Trumpisms?
I believe you know exactly what I am saying...

The motivation of the "suicide" was faked by the "press" (AKA The Ministry of Truth).

For God to punish families? Yes: “‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in loyal love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children until the third and fourth generations.’” (Numbers 14:18)

For man to punish families? No: “The person who sins is the one who will die. A son will not suffer for his father’s iniquity, and a father will not suffer for his son’s iniquity; the righteous person will be judged according to his righteousness, and the wicked person according to his wickedness.” (Ezekiel 18:20)

So you vote that parents should never have to be punished with prison time for any crime.

Completely foolish, but honest.

As the scriptures say: It depends on who is doing the punishing, God or man. Children should not be legally punished for the parent's sins, visa versa. But parents should be punished for their sins.

Not really what you said at first. I’m not talking sin I am talking crime. Your first post said man should not break up families yet your second post alludes they can ?

Please stick with the topic. The topic is crime and punishment. Not sin and judgement. It will make everything easier.

Your first post says man should not break up families. That can only mean you don’t support any jail time for parents.

I didn't say a word, I only posted scripture. One dealing with sin, and the other dealing with crime....

Can you think of any crimes that are not sin?

Neither verse mentioned crime, both mentioned sin.

That’s why I hate it when folks can’t answer a yes or no question.

Under Mosaic Law, crime was sin, just as it is now. You do not sin if you murder someone today?
We are not under mosaic law and it’s not part of this conversation.

If you want to start another thread be my guest.

I'm only saying scripture doesn't support punishing kids along with the parents. But it supports punishing parents for their sins (crimes).
