And you prove my point that you simply insult people instead of actually doing the difficult work of considering whether or not you may need to change some things.

This is the formula for moral, personal, social, and spiritual failure. You reject those who are interested in helping you out.

Uh this is a debate board BB did you not know that? If I wanted help I certainly would not be asking you for it.

Despite what some people seem to think, "debate" is not about screaming insults at each other, but engaging in intellectual dialogue designed to reveal truth.

Your words tell me you don't understand that.

Moreover, I have never been your enemy, but you pretend that I am. Quite sad.

You reject those that I love and heed their teachings. Mac, Washer, etc..

(1) How is that being your enemy?
(2) Who said I reject MacArthur? I have issues with some of his teaching, but I do not "reject" the man. I have some of his books and I generally agree with his work, "The Gospel According to Jesus," although I think he misses a major issue. I certainly prefer him to his critics.
(3) Who said I reject Washer? During the recent discussion over him, I took some time to listen to his allegedly controversial message to youth and I didn't have much disagreement with him. I think he should have made a concession for the lack of discipleship prevalent in the churches today instead of simply telling people they are probably lost (he claims to understanding the importance of discipleship on his website and I have no reason to disbelieve him) and need to come to faith.

Sir, you have made a bunch of assumptions that are not true.

Excuse me? You attacked me!
Nope.

We had a disagreement about "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" and I quoted scripture to make my point, and you dodged the issue and belittled my interpretive skills. I haven't forgotten that you still have not dealt with the scripture I posted since it undermined your point.

I called you out on it and you keep attacking and then made a number of false charges against me when I assured you I was not an enemy.

This is unhealthy and ungodly behavior.

Persecution complex? Look man I have interpretations which you refer to as attacking.

IMHO - it appears you are "All or nothing". That is if someone does not agree with you 100% than you interrupt that you are being attack.

Of course your biggest issues is (only) passing out tracks. I do not necessarily consider that the best form of evangelism. Now, if someone is successful in doing so, I will not fault them for that. Keep in mind that all have different gifts - and that we should recognize that in other. But on the other hand, we must not use excuses for what we do.

Then why criticize the book?
First of all, it's not "criticism," it's critique.

Secondly, I'm critiquing it because there are some major problems with the book: his support of Charismatic heresy, his almost-non-existent pneumatology, his inadequate statements of the Gospel, etc.

Thirdly, he criticizes all other methods of evangelism than his. How then should his books avoid being critiqued?

Haven't got there yet. But he appears to believe that the use of the Law in evangelism is more important than the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
