Crown College/Sexton Deaf Ministry

Hello, I have never heard of Crown College nor many of the names mentioned in this thread. It may be that I am not familiar with the Deaf IFB crowd. I am Deaf and minister to deaf college students in West Texas. I have been looking for a seminary for quite some time but have noticed many which are tailored for the deaf are watered down and those that are highly acclaimed do not have such services or cost a bundle of money.

I noticed on the Seminary page of the website that a portrait of Charles Spurgeon is in the background behind the president who is handing out degrees. I will go ahead and assume that Crown College is not Reformed and that they do not hold to same doctrines Spurgeon holds to eventhough their statement of faith proclaims much of the Reformed theology.

That's wonderful for you! When will you enroll Crown College. In January 2006? I hope that the deaf progam at Crown College is doing well, and stay longer and good cooperative. I know Crown College is very good theology courses. I hope that some day Dr. Sexton will allow deaf ministry to be separate from hearing ministry. Or, if he wants deaf ministry to be merge with hearing service at 11 am. Better be patience with his authority. Unless he allows deaf ministry to be separate from hearing ministry just for Sunday School class only. That is better than nothing. Long as deaf people will attend Temple Baptist Church, as the deaf ministry grows.

I believe that you will be a sucessful student at Crown College, and will graduate there, you will serve the Lord. I already notice you, that you are so very brillant and knowledge of Bible well. I urge you go to Crown College and graduate there, and to serve the Lord. You better follow God's Will, He knows your life, what He wants you to do. GO FOR IT!

By the way, this morning, I received email from pastor, that he is upset with me about his college.

I want tell you, that I am apologize for saying negative about a deaf bible college. I seems allow Satan to destroy God's plan. Well, I do not mean it. But, I want to drop it, and not talk negatives on any colleges. We all know every colleges are not perfect. Every colleges have problems, but I am sure that God blessing many bible colleges and deaf bible colleges, which send many students into the world to preach the gospel to save people for Christ. I better shut my hands about the conversation on negative of colleges. Let God take care of colleges' problems, not ours. Leave them alone, also praying for them. Please forgive me for saying of negative on a deaf college. Next time, I will not say any negative on any deaf college or any hearing college next time.
