Cruz: Did he have a Trump moment?

The media was abuzz with whispers that he would be a "sore loser" and maybe even run as a third party candidate which would surely cost Jeb or one of the early favorites, the November election, pushing Hillary right into the Oval Office.

Well, just like the odds makers and 'king makers' were proved wrong almost a year ago, it turns out that Trump won the nod, and one of the early favorites has become the political sore loser.

Did any of you see one of the other candidates playing the role of sore loser/spoiler? I am confident that while the odds on favorite (to be the sore loser) would be Trump, few would have guessed it would be Bush, Kasich or even Cruz that would be stomping their feet and holding their breath over losing to Trump.

In the heat of the primary race, Trump tweeted an unflattering photo of Cruz's wife (probably something someone tweeted to Trump), so now Cruz would rather Hillary win and sink the country (and have Hillary's Supreme Court nullify the Constitution). Ted Cruz is truly a RAT.

Cruz's speech was epic. What he did was allowed the Trump Party to reveal themselves for the anti-conscience, anit-freedom, and anti - constitution party they are. When this: "Don't stay home this November. Stand and speak and vote your conscience. Vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution." Gets you booed you know that the party is done. Cruz showed the contrast and it was brilliant. Well done Ted Cruz I appreciate his back bone.

Cruz didn't melt down. He was firm and resolute until someone said that he should just roll over when his wife and father are attacked because "it's just politics."

How about Trump tweeting unflattering photos of Trump's wife, having a story placed in the National Enquirer that Cruz is having multiple affairs, calling him Lyin' Ted, saying that Cruz's Dad was complicit in the JFK assassination. How about that?

I KNEW it!!! When I found out they had received the speech early, i knew it was a Trump ploy to bring his "supporters" together.

He knew that Cruz would either make him look stupid and he could play the victim or else he could let Cruz do what he did and have the Trumpets coalesce around him even more.

I have not been a Cruz fan because he came across as kinda ho hum to me. Was proud of him last night for not rolling over and showing that some people do still have a conscience and integrity about themselves.

This from the guy that spoke at Romney's convention and went on and on and on and on with the "me, I, I, I, I, etc." for at least 15 minutes before mentioning Romney's name.

Christie's just upset that he is the forgotten step child of the Trump team. he sold out his principles for the chance to be VP and it has gotten him no where.

Yes now that he lost VP, he seems to be openly campaigning for Attorney General.
