Cruz, Romney and the rest! A bunch of cutthroats?

This is a critical point to consider. There are no states that would go to the GOP if Trump were running vs. another candidate. None.

I think at this point, it's not the Presidential election that the GOP is concerned about, but rather the Senate.

Sure, but my point was there is no circumstance where the GOP would win, say, Illinois, if Trump were running instead of Cruz. Or any state.

I don't get it. Because they are both "anti-immigrant, build a great big wall", RD2 seems to be fawning over Trump like he's a piece of New York styled cheesecake.

Not any more fawning over Trump, then you fawning over Obama like he was a piece of double chocolate fudge cake.

Get over yourself zaac. Your "troll" tendencies seem to surface from time to time, and just when I thought you had turned a corner and started to post like a person with a moral conscience!

I think you are on the right track. I think there's one more option. If none of the candidates get to the magic number of 1237 delegates, then the delegates are no longer bound to their candidate. I think it is likely that another candidate may be selected who will bring the party together. Yes, the GOP will be wounded - especially if some of the Trump supporters stay home on election day. However, not sure what states the GOP would lose by not having Trump run.

They would be angry enough, speaking from personal experience, to not stay home, but to exercise my right to vote and cast it for the DNC candidate. Other Trump faithfuls would do likewise.

I think that you are giving the man from Texas way toooooo much credit! He is conniving, a slick Willy type, and not what you think he is! Like Eve and the serpent, I think you have been conned into believing that the fruit hanging from the Cruz tree is life giving, and it may not hurt for you to rethink your thought process before you knight the man as the savior of America! He continues to use innuendos and half truths to siphon off votes from the competition. Like with Carson in Iowa, he used the same means on Saturdays vote, stating that it would be wise for those voting for Rubio and Kasich to vote instead for him because a vote for those two would be wasted, as he insinuated, they were dropping out f the race!

He is a liar. And we know who dwells in sin of lies? The father of lies himself, the devil! Does that make Cruz the devil? Not necessarily so, just that he is apparently influenced by the spirit of deception, and that is dangerous for all and not a gift that will give rebirth to Washington and clean house! He is, IMHO, more of the same, politics as usual!
I would like for you to state the lies from Ted Cruz please! I can give you loads and loads of sources showing Trump lying and flip flopping on issues..he is like a fish out of water he flip flops so much! He brags about his marital affairs, lusts after his own daughter, attempted to take a 74 year olds home by force via eminent domain to have a parking lot for his limousines, has admitted to buying politicians! There is not a conservative bone in his body! For a righteous dude you sure do lack discernment!

So out of spite that Trump didn't get the nomination you would vote for Hillary. That proves your statement in the OP that these "fools" think we the people don't know what is best for us.
