Surging Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz is laying out what would be the most aggressive first day in office every for a new president, starting with the elimination of "every single illegal and unconstitutional" executive action taken by President Obama.

In an epilogue to his father Rafael Cruz's upcoming autobiography, the Texas senator also said that he would rip up Obama's controversial deal with Iran, open an investigation into Planned Parenthood's abortion practice, end the IRS's "persecution of religious liberty," and shift the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

If he does get elected I hope he keeps his promise, but I won't be holding my breath that any of them are actually do what they say.

The first thing Hillary will do is sign a bunch of blanket style pardons for Obamo, and his, and her cronies.

Won't take much to kill the Iran deal. There's not one.

Iran can do anything they want. Some "deal".

I think they have agreed to wait 10 years before they nuke Israel (and they made it clear they want Israel to "go away").
However once they do get the bomb don't hold your breath.

Most politicians do talk about what they are planning to do and not what they have done. What has he done to stop Israel soldiers who kill Palestinians daily? What has he done to curb mass shootings in US? We should not believe them when they say that they are planning to...

So what illegal and unconstitutional things are on his list? And who found them to be illegal and unconstitutional?

Not that it matters. The GOP brass already know that they've lost the White House. They are just working at this point to keep Trump from causing them to lose the House and the Senate too.

There's no reason to believe that Trump won't continue to keep his 1/3 of support. Cruz has his 1/3. And Rubio and the establishment candidates have their 1/3.

Trump's folks aren't going anywhere.
Rubio's folks aren't gonna coalesce behind Cruz. Even John McCain threw him under the bus today.

It's starting to look more and more like a brokered convention in which Paul Ryan ends up as the nominee.

Cruz won't be getting the chance to do much of anything as President. His GOP colleagues can barely stand him, so they aren't hardly gonna back him as the GOP nominee.

Hey! You want to stop Israeli soldiers from killing Palestinians? Tell the Palestinians to stop trying to kill Israeli's and that will bring an end to the entire affair.

Man, that is sure wishful thinking on your part Zaac. Or should I say wistful?

The wishful/wistful/not gonna happen thinking is anyone thinking TedCruz is gonna be President. I guess some of you have already started holding your noses and feeling like you gotta support somebody so why not Cruz? Biggrin

The GOP knew the race was over when they finally figured out they couldn't control Donald Trump.

You had said : "The GOP brass already know that they've lost the White House."
Your post in response had nothing to do with supporting your vain hope.

Yeah, if you notice, every week or so he's taking some GOP contender and making negative threads/posts on end to take him/her down. That's the latest dailykook disinformation - "if they nominate Trump, they'll lose both the House and the Senate!", as if that would really bother them. If this presidential election is soooooo in the bag for the left, then they're just wasting their time discussing the GOP primaries.

Well, at least that's the latest DNC, leftist media talking point.

Got any original thoughts on the subject? You've been repeating their talking points for days. Pretty boring.

And that's the latest "Sean Hannity laced, starry eyed, gotta convince ourselves we're still in it until election night and we lose 332-206" wishful thinking at it's best.

Po' thangs.
