In an another interview, Trump also said he would be "fine" with waterboarding Salah Abdeslam, one of the leaders of the Paris attacks several months ago who was just captured in Brussels, in order to get more information on potential future attacks.

"Well I'm not looking to break any news on your show, but frankly the waterboarding, if it was up to me, and if we changed the laws or have the laws, waterboarding would be fine," the Republican front-runner said on NBC's "Today" show. "I would say they should be able to do whatever they have to do."

"You know, we work within laws. They don't work within laws -- they have no laws. We work within laws. The waterboarding would be fine, and if they could expand the laws, I would do a lot more than waterboarding," he said.

If I were a citizen in Brussels, I would welcome Trump's comment and roll my eyes at Cruz's.

Because you like Trump are a bully who thinks strength is displayed best by being the first to show force and might and SAY what they will do. There's a big difference between saying and doing.

And there is strength in not showing your whole hand.

There is a time to speak and a time when folks like Trump need to just be quiet.

Again, had any Islamic group claimed responsibility at that point? What exactly should Cruz have said if he nor anyone else knew who was responsible? The authorities in Brussels didn't say who was responsible, so why should Cruz start talking about opposing Islam? That would just be dumb and not the sort of thing a measured LEADER would do.

Presidents don't need to be hotheaded. But that apparently doesn't matter to this growing group of Trump supporters who think "say whatever" even when it's irrelevant and dangerous.

You are voting for Hillary the liar so that's not very good seeing that the KKK has endorsed her.

I like polls and all, but just like sports, you still have to have to play the game.

And you're voting for Trump the liar so that's not very good seeing that members of the KKK and many other racially hateful groups have endorsed him.

And your dear sweet friend Hillary doesn't get out the starting gate of my qualifications for President so you can save that lie.;)

. . . because he won't fight.

Washington (CNN)An angry and emotional Ted Cruz on Thursday ripped into Donald Trump for his attacks on Cruz's wife, Heidi, and repeatedly declined to say whether he would support Trump if he's the Republican presidential nominee.

"Donald, you're a sniveling coward and leave Heidi the hell alone," Cruz told reporters after a factory tour in Dane, Wisconsin, pointing his finger at the cameras for emphasis.

Yeah, that's the fire he needs, but he needs to focus it on Hillary, and Obama, and the the establishment. He needs that passion in his fight for the people, not his wife.

Who the Fritos cares that he's incensed about Donald because of his wife?

Trump is seen to fight for the people, despite his sophomoric digressions like this one, and that is why he is winning.

McCain and Romney lost because they: 1. Were moderate Republicans who could not differentiate themselves from their Democrat opponents. 2. They ran horrible campaigns.
