NY Gov. Cuomo resigns amid sexual harassment scandal

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday announced that he would be resigning amid the sexual harassment probe in 14 days.


"New York tough means New York loving, and I love New York and I love you," Cuomo said, "I would never want to be unhelpful in any way, and I think given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing, and therefore, that’s what I’ll do."

This is the sort of thing to relish—the evident lack of fairness in the justice system against powerfully rich Italian Americans who don’t just get away with mass murder but profit from it—systemic racism, baby.

Cuomo accused state investigators of bias, saying the report accusing him of sexually harassing 11 women from 2013 to 2020 in violation of state and federal law is evidence of a "lack of fairness in the justice system."

However, not everyone agrees with Cuomo.

Ex-Gambino crime family underboss Salvatore "Sammy The Bull" Gravano on Saturday slammed New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's "disgusting" alleged sexual misconduct and urged Italian Americans in the state to "get rid" of the embattled politician.

"This guy is literally the worst of the worst," Gravano said of Cuomo in a YouTube video released Friday, which highlighted allegations of both government corruption and sexual misconduct against the New York governor.

"He used public funds to write a book so he could make $5 million. He put people who have the coronavirus in old-age homes, 13-or-15,000 senior citizens died. This is more than the mafia killed in the entire time they were in this country," Gravano added.

Biden doesn’t know if he’s happy or sad, until someone tells him how to express. He arrived back at the WH after a long weekend at home, & was being led up the sidewalk to the door. The SS stopped where Joe was supposed to turn, & pointed to the sidewalk turn. Then the SS went ahead through the bushes so he could be out of the camera shot for Joe……….well, ol’ Joe just kept following the guy through the bushes. They opened the door for him & he wandered through. I can’t believe this is allowed to continue………elder abuse.

In the end it does not matter. New York is a state that is hopelessly lost to the Progressives.

Because NY City is a liberal city and has half of the states votes!

This is the reason we want to split NY - but that would never happen as Upstate would have 2 Rep senators

Also, California should consider this proposal.

in addition - the successors the Rush Limbaugh show think that by resigning - Cumo could run for NY Governor in 2022. I wouldst put it past him. And if the citizensre-elect him - than he gets a free pass.

But now the real question is how liberal is the Lt Governor: On her Wiki page - she was endorsed by the Working Families party - and in order to do so - you must be pro-abortion. Kathy Hochul - Wikipedia

Back when Spitzer resigned back in 2008- the Lt Gov Patterson had asked Spitzer to wait about 10 days - to make a smoother transition

Of course the next New York governor is going to be pro-abortion. The conservative parts of upstate cannot overcome Progressive NYC. Pataki was a RINO. That is just the way it is in New York. I am originally from New Jersey, and it is the same thing there.

Yes but we did try Chris Christie for two terms and he used it for his criminal endeavors. Murphy has tapped down any racial tensions so we haven’t had the race riots, burning and looting seen in other state for the past 2 years.
