I think that all of us at one time or another have slipped in this manner. I wrote a little poem that reflects my thoughts on why I had such a problem in this area at one time.

Eyes are the pathway to the heart
Choke and troubled paths
From a life time of sights
Seen with awful intent

Voice is the trumpet of the heart
Tempestuous notes are often heard
Critical and wasted words
Issue from a withered soul

Touched by the Redeemers’ Hand
A heart bursts forth
Resounding with perfect harmony
A soul is reborn
