The Just One suffering in the place of the unjust is substitution - one paying what is due(in this case, suffering) from another.

To redeem someone is to accomplish their redemption.

Christ(The Just One) suffered for the sins of God's elect(the unjust) to redeem God's elect.

Christ Himself is indeed the Propitiation for the sins of the Whole World.

My point is "the Just for the unjust" does not define redemption.

The Just redeemed the unjust. You still leave "redemption" as some abstract thing. You never defined it.
